Very disappointed; the app is extremely dated and makes me really wonder about this company and there products. Investigating other system.
Gives all the functionality of your alarm on your phone. If you want more, get the iBridge Zremote.
I am a alarm technician and the app just looks dated this needs to be updated with more features and a new user face.
The last update to this app was 2 years ago. This should tell you something.
For all the functionality this app could have - it's just too basic. How about a zone listing? EZ bypass options? Notifications via email or device notification screen? It arms and disarms. But nothing fancy like the Honeywell Total Connect App. Sorry I made the change...
Extremely disappointed with app. I have a remote app for my garage doors and remote cameras - just simple, easy to use apps. This one is horrible - it's not designed well. I would have gotten a different security system had I known this is what I would have to use for remote access. Just painfully slow, non responsive and doesn't offer real notifications.
Wow, obviously Napco isn't concerned with quality control for their app development. First, if you are talking on the phone, you can't use the app (buttons don't register). Second, they haven't updated the resolution for iPhone 5 (been out for over a year guys). 3rd you can't connect if you are on your home wifi. It was a nice try for your first app, but maybe hire someone that knows what they are doing?
Ver 1.7 makes it harder to use an app that we business owners depend on to access our alarm system remotely and it used to just LOG ON AT A TAP -which is just what you want if your worried about security and want to check your building status RIGHT NOW. When you sign up to get this service they provide a cryptic password you can't remember and can't change. But at least you only enter it the first time you use the app and then it's tap and your in So when I upgraded to 1.7 I expected to tap the app icon and see my keypad like before but NOW YOU HAVE TO LOGIN TO THE APP TO SEE THE KEYPAD which also requires my real alarm key code if I want to disarm etc In addition instead of remembering your old password and just storing it like almost every other app does, the first time you use 1.7 you need to remember your login /and that cryptic password they issue you to use it. The fact that NAPCO still doesn't allow you to change your password or give you the option require one or not when you log in is ridiculous. Don't just decide for us how we must login and how long it takes Why not make it a setting so we can decide if we want to even see a login screen and decide whether to save our u/password Once your in it works fine but there are a few spelling errors like "exixting"which makes you wonder it is a security firm detail oriented right?
App needs to be updated, it is slow and is not designed for iPhone 5
