MyRepChat allows you to send and receive text messages with your clients and colleagues and to meet the stringent requirements of the financial industry. Conversations are retained, and can be reported on or archived with several major third party archiving solutions. And the best part, to your clients it is the same text messaging that they are used to, they don't need to install any special software or apps to communicate with you.
I am constantly fighting this service and app. It just NEVER works right. Have to force close and reopen just to get the app to load almost every time. Will just randomly stop allowing me to send messages because “this person hasn’t consented to receive messages” even though we’ve already been messaging back and forth. Will not pop up alerts to let me know I’ve even received a message.
It just doesn’t work. What an absolute headache. And I’m forced to use it because of our BD.
Very buggy
I use this app only because it’s the only one approved by my broker-dealer. I agree with the others that it gets hung up on my iPhone and iPad at least a couple of times a month. Thank goodness it works on my laptop! I’ve gotten the same response that others have gotten—the problem is my device. I think they need techies who can code better. They were acquired by FMG Suite so let’s see.
Customer support does not exist
Terrible, never responds to the email requests for help…are you even still in business?
LOTS of Bugs & Downtime
This app used to be mediocre, but in the past couple of months it’s become almost unusable. Sometimes you can’t log in on the app or on their website, other times the app hangs and after a few times trying you finally get in. Other times, you don’t see the new messages until hours or days later. I think it’s time to find a text app for our team that works!
Brutal
Where do I start. The system is slow. Doesn’t update you when you get a text. You have to refresh on your end to see new texts. The login doesn’t remember your credentials. I could go on and on but you get the point

Terrible App
Unfortunately my Firm uses this for our texting for Compliance. Constantly crashes and terrible customer support. I would not recommend this service! I have been an advisor or over 20 years and this app makes my life stressful!
Problems
I have been having technical issues for over a week now. They will not answer their phone and I have left multiple voicemails and emails regarding the issue and have yet to hear back from support.

Developer response
I am not a user and will net become one after I see a legitimate review issued by a client and see the developer response to send and-mail to their operations “instead of using a childish response like this”. Are you kidding me? You claim to be professional and choose to send your own childish response! Wow!!!
