I want them all
The Mysa itself is great but pairing with the app and I assume app issues is annoying. It's great when the app works but super sucks when it doesn't.
I would have given a 5 rating because the thermostats and app worked well together and allowed me to monitor our cabin and change temps remotely. A big part of this was the app’s “Whole Home” energy usage feauture/reporting. Now when I try to access the report, the app freezes, requiring a reboot. I contacted Mysa’s Help, and we exchanged several emails but they couldn’t solve my problem. So now I’m stuck with 9 Mysa thermostats with limited remote functionality and their “Help” has vanished.
We have 3 AC controllers and 3 baseboard heater controllers. Love the functionality Mysa brings to our home. I had some electrical issues hooking up 2 baseboard units recently and was walked through troubleshooting on the phone for over 45 mins until it was fixed. Highly recommended!
It says hold til 10 pm (or whenever your next scheduled change is) but then the next schedule change doesn’t happen. I’ve written to Mrs. Support about this and they said their developers are working on the problem.
Works great when it works but half the time, app won’t load. I need it to work for my baby’s room :(
Editing a schedule feels worse than getting fillings. It simply is silly to edit events one day at a time. Copy works ok but what about events happening later during the weekend? Let me edit multiple days at once! Let me move and slide events for the whole week. This is a touch screen! If you want to replace programmable thermostats, your UI isn’t better! Thankfully I can rely on HomeKit for it and have them run locally without internet unlike your schedules. Editing home shortcuts is a bad process. Why can’t I access them through Siri Shortcuts? HomeKit? Geofencing is equally clunky but whatever I use HomeKit automations for it now. Can you guys either fully commit to making an app, or exposing features to systems if you can’t? Mysa for AC is half baked into HomeKit. Not your fault I’m sure but it keeps trying to turn the window AC AND the room baseboards at once or set the AC in heat modes it doesn’t support. Also no way to toggle only the fan through HomeKit. Spending money for for clunkiness again…
I really like the app and how it works when I can get the app to open. I have had to delete the app three times and reinstall to get the app to open. I’ve only had it for 4 hours. When I go on the app it just spins and loads. Not impressed so far.
A glitchy broken app that somehow still doesn’t function correctly after months of complaints to support. If there was another option for baseboard heaters that wasn’t subscription based, I would go for that instead. I am not at all pleased with this system or it’s support.
The UI/UX of the Mysa app is pretty clunky for 2022 standards. Is it following schedule or on hold? You can’t tell unless you tap a few times deep. Don’t get me started on the numerous menu screens. Tap on the thermostat for some settings. Tap hamburger icon for other settings. Tap 3 dots for more settings!
