Seamless accessibility and connectivity to your vehicle – with Safety, Security, Comfort and Convenience all from the myToyota Connect app.

Remote Connect
Be in command of your Toyota from near or far with just a tap in the app. Remote features include locking and unlocking your vehicle, as well as pre-heating or cooling the cabin using Remote Start with Remote Climate Control.

Connected Trip
Send destinations to your Toyota, then finish with walking directions on your phone for smooth travel end to end.

Vehicle Status and Information
Left your car unlocked? Get reminded. Plus view your Distance to Empty and Odometer.

Guest Driver Alerts
Allows you to set and receive alerts when your vehicle is driven a by a guest. For example, receive notifications for speed, distance travelled, ignition on and curfews.

Smartwatch
Access remote commands and vehicle status using your compatible smartwatch.

This is one of the worst apps of all time. Sends you constant notifications and log you out so you can’t see the notifications. Resetting the password is a lesson in patience. Please do better. I love my car but hate the app. Would reconsider buying a Toyota again because I hate this app with a fiery burn of a thousand suns

### **--- "Where’s the recent trips data?"
Got my Camry 7 months ago and on my iphone the recent trips data doesn’t show. After all this time it still says data can take up to 24 hours to appear! After much back and forth between Toyota and myself it was determined that they think the fault is at their end. 
Was told to wait for the next app update which has been a few months now and who knows how long until it will happen. Meanwhile my complimentary 3 year subscription is slowly ticking by without proper use of the app. 
Guess I’ll just keep waiting…….

I find this app pretty disappointing.  Connected services was very limited, could only turn car on/off remotely, lock and unlock doors and turn hazards on/off.  No option to turn climate control on like in the recent advertisement on telly!

Often need to fully close app to get it to work and have to re-log in. Many features don’t work for my car Bz4X. Tried the climate control schedule, to date it’s not worked. Really a pointless app with very limited features or features that do not work.

The app has instructions to set up multimedia profiles but the instructions on adding code or QR do not match the configuration of the vehicle. When i try to search for more information online, there is a pile of FAQ of which none match my query. I literally have no idea whether my vehicle is even compatible and if it is, how to connect it beyond registering the vehicle in the app.

The app looks great and was easy to load our new car information. However, when I booked our first couple of services, even though they saved to my calendar, they didn’t transfer to the nominated dealership. My first service was nearly 3 months late, because that’s the general wait time in my town. I gave the app another go, booking the next three services in advance. All appeared well and then on return to the app, there was no evidence of service bookings. This feature requires attention.

To create an app and not have an option to clear notifications messages is absolutely slack software design. 
Whoever designed this app needs to understand basic development techniques. 
Options are very limited and not worth a subscription. 
There is so many different apps out there where there is no charge, yet they want to charge you for underdeveloped software.

Toyota do terrific cars but anything IT related - such as this app - is disappointingly substandard lacking any innovation. 
Ditch the map and music functions, they are awful. Waze and Google maps look and function much better. 
However I’ve found the remote access (locking/ unlocking doors; engine start) functions essential which necessitates ongoing use of this app. But beware once the first free 12 months is up (after buying your new car) it costs an extortionate $9.95/month to keep using it. I’d be happy to pay a nominal monthly fee but this is FAR too much and Toyota are simply taking the piss with that price point. And there hasn’t been any updates to functionality or appearance so it appears connectivity is a low priority. 
‘Oh what a feeling’ of being ripped off for something that should be a standard feature.

I have a new Rav-4 Hybrid which has plenty of operational metrics on the dashboard and the consumption has to be the most useful number to show the vehicle efficiency. Unbelievable the app does not show the consumption! Yet it shows a gimmicky driver score per journey. Seriously, what are the folk at Toyota thinking.
