MyUOW Reviews

Optimise file access on mobile

1. Current system MyUOW > Sols > Moodle > Subject page > PDF The app doesn’t allow a one stage step back from PDF to Subject page, please implement it so it does; just like the web version on desktops. Saves a lot of time, hassle and students complaining about the UI and function of the app, please and thank you

Glitchy

ahdvjfsecv on

Australia

This app is awful. I can’t check my email on it at all. Extremely slow to open. Really clunky. Needs an update

App just opens up the web browser

Savas Papasokratis on

Everything I click on opens in a web browser or asks me to download another app.

Worse than last update

Oniedia on

Australia

I don’t get notifications any more. Links from Moodle won’t open. I don’t want to read everything on the feed. It was better when it was on its own page and I could scroll through and pick what to open.

Don’t update

kvincent10 on

Australia

New update is weird. Doesn’t fit to screen on the XR for some reason and the best features of the old version are gone.

I liked the old app

EClarkk on

It doesn’t fit a normal iPhone screen

We need a new version that fits iPhone X

It will be great if it can be updated to fit iPhone X

Outdated

Robert23321 on

This app is beyond outdated. Always has issues with Mail display.

No longer get notifications from app

Needs a lot of work

The app is convenient for checking timetables and sends lots of news notifications but none for SOLS or UOWMail; links from Moodle don’t open properly so you still need to sign in via a browser — defeating the purpose of having an app; app doesn’t rotate to landscape so is not useful when using an iPad Pro while studying as the keyboards are not portrait; does not work with split screen on iPad Pro and continually asks me to sign in for UOWMail even though I check “stay signed in” every time. With the amount of money UOW make from their students, you’d think they could spare the money to make an app that is beneficial to students.
