VCA has been providing excellent veterinary care to my multiple dogs ranging in age from 6 months to almost 4 years old. I enjoy the convenience that their app provides. I appreciate the medication delivery service they offer. They are very responsive in contacting you with results from lab tests. They also are quick to answer questions submitted via the app regarding your animals. You can make appointments on the app. The reception staff and Vet Assistants are friendly and competent. If I was ONLY rating VCA on support staff, cleanliness, response time, the VCA App, preventative Vet care such as routine exams, wellness care, etc I would give 5 stars. However, I rate them 2.5 stars for the following two reasons. Reason 1: VCA is significantly more expensive than other veterinarians in the area. I switched all my dogs to VCA about a 1-2 years ago. I’ve had the highest Veterinary costs then at any other time as a lifelong dog owner. I have compared VCA charges for a variety of veterinary services (exams, vaccinations, lab studies, treatments, medications) with other veterinarians in the Vancouver WA area. VCA rates the highest in cost. If you have just one animal, this may not be a problem. But if you have more than one animal you may want to do some serious comparison shopping. I have Pet Insurance on all my animals, but I’ve never been able to use it at VCA because of high deductibles and non-covered services. Reason 2: VCA is not pro-breeder. If you are a breeder (occasionally or full-time), you may want to consider a different Veterinary Clinic. I make this statement because of my experience with VCA. On 2 separate occasions, regarding 2 different common veterinary problems, involving 2 different dogs of different sexes, 2 different veterinarians recommended spaying and neutering as part of the treatment for the common canine question. If you never plan to have puppies or kittens or otherwise breed one of your animals reason #2 may not apply to you. I feel that veterinary care as well as medical care should be given without bias. I am very disappointed and sad to report I will be leaving VCA in the near future. The best veterinary care in the world isn’t the BEST if animal owners cannot afford the care and the care is biased. I created this review with much sadness. I have been honest. I hope it helps you select the best Veterinary Clinic for you and your pets.

I’ve been taking my pets to VCA now for over 20 years and have never had any issues. Dr. Arthur Lahm is our main vet and he’s seen us through the first weeks of life to the end of life. As a matter of fact, the entire staff is very professional, supportive and super nice. The building is clean and is very inviting. I highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital to everyone.

Cypress Creek Animal Hospital has the best veterinarian best manager and best receptionist I have ever gone to see. We have been using them for a little over a year. They are kind considerate and wonderful to work with Dr. Ortiz is wonderful. I would not go to a different vet ever Kristen the manager has been wonderful and caring Jen the receptionist works with us to get us in if we have a problem with our dogs and I can’t say anything else. We were instructed to park in a numbered spot and call when we got there to check in. We were told not to come in. We were put on hold twice and finally said no to being placed on hold. This was after trying the QR code and it didn’t work. We were told they knew the code didn’t work. We had been on hold for over 10 minutes and didn’t know when someone would help us. It is too hot to sit in our car and we don’t like running our car just to stay cool. When I complained I was told that I would just have to do it. I was told something about not wanting the waiting room crowded to cut down on respiratory infections spreading. There was no one else in there when we were there. This is ridiculous. If you are too busy do you want us to go somewhere else?
