Notification Center Needed

Without a place to see accurate time stamps for sound and motion alerts, we are missing access to a useful and simple tracking capacity in regard to our children.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the motion recording issue on your VTech camera and app. To address this, we recommend a firmware upgrade that requires a manual power reset on the camera unit. Once the reset is done, the latest firmware version Rmxx4 US-4.0.5.5 EU&UK-4.2.5.5 / VM901C US-4.0.4.3 UK&EU-4.2.4.4 AU-4.1.4.3 / RM7767 UK-4.2.1.5 will resolve the issue with event recording. However, if the motion recordings still don't function properly, rest assured that we are working on another fix and appreciate your patience. Update: toggle is on for notifications and I have my parent unit on as well for motion detection. This is my sending camera system. Technically a replacement from the last time you guys recommended restarting my parent hub. I was without a camera for a month. I’m blind and need this for my baby. I just want actual help and not some best around the bush lecture on how to destroy my unit. It’s worked five before but after cleaning my recents out none have been recorded anymore.

Terrible

Downloaded the app and it won’t even let me create an account. Keeps saying it cannot connect to the server with or without the wi fi on Now I can’t check my monitor when I am away.

Pretty good!

Works as expected except for a couple things , so in case those are important, I’ll note them here: temperature is astonishingly random sometimes, (2) not being able to have different notification settings on different devices is weird. So, if you set the app to notify for sound or movement on one device (your cell phone) it changes that setting universally. Other than that excellent.

Needs ability for audio with screen locked

I would like to be able to listen to the audio from the camera when my screen is locked. This is a feature that should be added to this app.

Same as problems as everyone else. Garbage app, buggy. Won’t even connect to the camera anymore. Worthless. For all the people that are having no problems, just wait. It worked for a few months for me too. You’ll get it eventually. Tried every combination of resetting everything nothing will fix the connection issues with the app. I won’t by from the horrible company again.

Horrible app and poor quality camera

The app doesn’t work most of the time. I have to keep refreshing, and it takes minutes to load feed from cameras. All my other smart devices (including security cameras) work perfectly. Lately, the app have been kicking me out at night and not letting me sign in. It keeps saying “Your email, password or selected region is incorrect” which I know is not true. Also, the app security is quite poor: if you try an email that’s not signed up, it says that it doesn’t have an account instead of directing the user to password reset where the user would receive instructions only if they do actually have an account. This is a well-known security vulnerability.

Works great, needs dark mode.

App works as needed and allows for recording and notifications for movement and temperature which is a great feature. The only thing I can ask for is dark mode! Far too often am I blasted with blinding white light as I try to check on my little one in the darkness. I’d love to see this in a future update to help with low light situations at night time.

Starts taking too long to load

My husband and I both have this on our phones, we have THE SAME phone and live at the same place… in recent weeks my camera view takes FOREVER to load, I actually timed it up to 7minutes, but his pulls up with no issue. What is going on. I think a update is needed. Badly!!!
