I want to like the product because I really enjoy all the features that it has (stories, lights, recording yourself, etc). However, it takes forever to make the app work. Every time I need to open it and close it several times until it finally works.
I should have just paid the extra money to get the hatch sound machine. This app is so hard to use. It lags something awful when you try to change settings. I’ve had this almost a year and the soother disconnects from the app almost 1x a week. So I have to delete the app and redownload, and do the whole setup process again. Definitely not something you want to do while your child is crying in the middle of the night.
Works 2% of the time. You need it to work most functions of the soother. If I would’ve known app had so many issues, never would’ve purchased baby soother.
As stated, I have to delete and reinstall this so frequently because it stops communicating with the soother. Not the best product and won’t recommend to friends.
I just got my v tech soother machine in the mail and love all the built in functions with the app to utilize on my soother remotely. I do have one wish, the voice recording, I wish it was long enough to record myself singing a whole song to my baby vs 10-15 seconds it seems. There should be a built in setting to extend the length of recording time for personalized audio, and reading books to baby via recording. Since baby only hears mamas voice for 9 months in utero, prolonging mamas voice to put baby to sleep via songs or book readings, would be the ultimate soother.
Someone fix this app! It makes the baby soother/light so glitchy. Don’t buy this until they fix the app!!!!!
I don’t know how the app works, and ive been a software engineer for 10 years! too many issues… can’t edit the schedule. Keeps telling me to edit the action, and yet can’t esit the action because that button is stuck!
Recently purchased it a soother and I love it but the app stops working at some point and it gets fusterating having to delete and redownload the app. My baby can be peacefully asleep then it stops all of a sudden and disrupts her sleep. I hope it gets fixed cause the soother itself is great just needs to stop glitching and work properly.
When the APP works ITS GREAT but this is my 2nd day using it and the app has stopped working multiple times. I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall just to change the sound . I love it because there are way more features compared to our Nest plus. The Nest doesn’t even have a “Shhh” sound (which is crazy) but the audio quality is nice and the app is never glitching . I’m not sure if I will return the vetch soother because the features are great. When I need to change the sound for my 4 month baby girl it’s a inconvenience.
It was working fine the first 2 weeks upon having it. However the app has stopped working and I cannot change the color of the night light or the brightness anymore. I have to continuously delete and redownload the app hoping it’ll work which is sometimes.
