It's ok, it's no apollo
The speed at which it presents/retrieves comments dissapoints a bit. But it has no ads, eo that's good.

Have tried multiple Reddit apps but this one is simply the best. Very intuitive and natural to browse through posts in my iPad
I can't swipe left from a post back to subreddit, drives me nuts
I’ve been using this app for reddit for the last 4 years and it’s clearly the best one for reddit available right now -
A few issues on the iPad keep this from being super great. The hamburger menu tends to disappear when changing the app's size around (Split-view, etc) There's no gesture to summon it either, so you have to force close the app or get the app to full size, cancelling the multitasking. When turning the app's size bigger (e.g. the 1/4 view into the 1/2 split view), you get a large gray screen, as the app doesn't resize itself accordingly. Smart keyboard shortcuts would also make this far easier to navigate around.
Love the bait and switch paywall. Why not put the price of the app in the AppStore rather than having people download the app then pay walling the app after going through the tutorial.
To use this app, you have to agree to an alarming number of permissions. Read the fine print before agreeing. I opted out.
so happy they added auto unmute!! only thing that would make the app better would be being able to scroll through media (scroll up in one media for the next posts media)
I was willing to pay to stop seeing ads on the Reddit app, but premium Reddit is limited to just one account. Narwhal 2 eliminates all ads and supports multiple Reddit accounts, all under a single subscription. So far I have only good things to say about Narwhal!
The UX is honestly amateurish and hard to get used to, no matter how much customization you do. All of the features feel very cobbled together with no holistic thought put into a cohesive design.
