The official app is riddled with ads, bugs, and it has a terrible media player. While narwhal are not plagued with ads or bugs. And there are so many more QOL settings that Narwhal has that the official app does not. If you’re tired of the official app, try out Narwhal, it is miles better.
Popups, annoying auto trial, auto subscription, toxic trash app. It’s like kid Apollo aborted.
Efter förlusten av Apollo har jag använt olika appar, den officiella samt andra. Har försökt undvika prenumerationsappar, men gav Narwhal till sist en andra chans ändå. Väl värt det! Betyder också mycket, att utvecklaren lyssnar aktivt på sina användare, och agerar på förslag och konstruktiv kritik. Rekommenderas!

Since Reddit killed Apollo I tried this app. It’s quite annoying to use and needs lots work.
App was amazing a for a long time and I paid for the app, but now it conveniently forgets my purchase and opens appstore to try and get me to install apps as a revenue stream... Drives you NUTS.
Some years back I gave Reddit multiple tries since it is an amazing place and everyone talked about it. But I always bounced off because overall hard to use apps. Narwhal changed that and got me hooked! So easy to use and just good app!
It would be even better if it were possible to see if a post have been gilded multiple times, and also see silver and platinum.
It utilizes swipes brilliantly, it looks clean and is very easy to use. An easy 5/5 stars
I have tried a lot of Reddit apps on the iPad. This one is the one I like best.
