Just use trainerize. This app has a lot of potential however, the lack of app support makes it even more frustrating especially when you start taking on clients as a beginner trainer. I definitely don’t want the added stress of a faulty app nor the lack of communication from the tech Support. I absolutely love that They added in the circuits, the super sets like some of the other reviews were asking for. However, clients are unable to adjust the weight for better tracking. I have a client in Texas, who is unable to see the workouts that I put in for him on the correct days. I deleted his profile so that I could put everything back in and now I am no longer able to chat I’m guessing that may be a sync delay w their server. I’ve reached out to tech-support three times and I’ve not received anything back. Either way if I were you, I would just go ahead and download trainerize and use that until NASM works out the kinks.

The app developers should really consider allowing a way to input set by set modifications in weight instead of allowing only sets reps and one weight total per exercise. They should also make this interactive so trainers can see the weight that clients are utilizing.

As a NASM CPT I figured the app would be just as impressive as the rest of the company. It absolutely is not! Extremely difficult to program with, not providing my clients or myself with the experience needed. I've used TrainHeroic for years and will be switching back to that.

I have been using this app for many years. I spent countless hours filming my own videos and getting it set up for my clients. It never was amazing but it did what it had to do. For over 6 weeks now I’ve had problems with the app not loading, my videos getting deleted/not loading, not being able to see my clients calendars and logged workouts, and so much more. I’ve talked to at least 6 different people on the phone, emailed back and forth a million times. No one is helping me. They always say it’s being sent to IT and to wait 3-5 days. It’s now been over 6 weeks and i’m losing money from not being able to work, but still paying for this app. I hope someone sees this and helps me. I’m very disappointed. I do not recommend this as if there is every anything you need help with, there is no one to help you.

### *---- "Not user friendly and too many glitches"
I was so excited about starting my personal training certification with NASM. I enrolled about 2 weeks ago and subscribed to NASM One to be able to use the NASM Edge app. The app is frustrating to use to say the least and glitches all the time. There are a lot of features that are unusable, like editing sets and reps when creating circuits. When I add exercises to my favorites the app no longer allows me to search those exercises to actually add them to workouts. I do like that you can add your own exercises but why are some basic exercises like sit ups not already in the exercise library. Even though it’s promoted as if there are tons of exercises already available, it is not that extensive. I can’t believe I’m stuck with the cost of this for an entire year. NASM is supposed to be the best when it comes to personal training. This app is not a representation of that reputation. I am so disappointed.

As stated in title, when trying to filter / search for an exercise within the exercise library, it does not work. All of the exercises are listed in default order and none are filtered out. Makes trying to find a specific exercise difficult as you need to scroll through hundreds of exercises.

This app and partner site are so ridiculously slow, that it is unusable. 

On top of the horrible load times, the exercise library is a joke. It is full of workouts that are not effective for weight loss clients or top-notch athletes. If you are training white-collar people who don't want to try hard, then you’ll love this app. It lacks some of the most basic exercises, so you have to add them yourself, which is an incredibly slow process, regardless of the slow load times. They don’t even have most of their own exercises that they have in their CPT Program!
Nearly all of my clients with Androids could even use the all due to constant crashing.
I cannot understand how the “gold standard” of Personal Training Certifications can have an app so useless and needlessly hard to use. There are much better options. I use Everfit with my clients. It isn’t perfect either, but it at least works.
Fix the app. It is normally a good idea to make a product that works before you charge $35 a month, or make it a “perk” of paying for you CPT Program.
