## National Trust Reviews in United Kingdom

### **--- "Membership card?"
Where do I upload my card? This was the reason I downloaded it. How odd to overlook the main reason for this app’s existence.
-- Juantestie, 2024-12-31

### ****- "Rocks Adventures"
Breathtaking views, fun for all, hot drinks, a great place to discover.
-- 😎AE, 2024-12-31

### *---- "Privacy concerns and carbon footprint."
Why does the app need to collect browsing history and search history? It’s completely unnecessary for an app of this nature.

Also they really need to issue digital membership cards, I’m being sent a paper based on each year, but there is still a carbon footprint from the production and postage of these cards.
-- Dan Starling, 2024-12-26

### *---- "Used to be great but has gone backwards"
The log in feature has gone, and with it the ability to favourite/star/wishlist properties, or mark as visited etc.

What’s the point in having a digital on the go version of the NT book if you can’t bookmark places you want to go (eg if you’re planning a trip to a part of the country you don’t know), or if you can’t check off the places that you have been to?

At least as the most basic app function, allow users to add a digital version of their membership card and add it to their wallet?

When browsing the map if you jump away to a different app (eg notes or what’s app) on your phone to cross reference something else, then upon return the map has dropped all your filters and zoomed you out to the full UK. When you’re trying to text someone a list of 4-5 options to go to this is really annoying!!

Used to love this app, but now struggling to see the point of it.

For my upcoming weekend away, I’ve actually decided that opening the NT website in my browser and having multiple tabs open at once of the places I’m interested in, is preferable to using the app.
-- AmySax88, 2024-12-24

### **--- "Good app, but one huge omission"
I like the app, so a 2 star rating might seem harsh. But the simple truth is the app needs to better support the members like myself that pay an annual fee. I’d like to see special offers for members in the app (free cup of coffee vouchers?) but the big ‘miss’ is the lack of a digital membership card. Remembering a card is a real pain, why oh why can’t the card be digitised in the app? Disappointing.
-- Mannors007, 2024-12-20

### **--- "Can you go digital please?"
Apart from offering local properties to visit, this app is woefully behind the times. Being able to add membership cards to digital wallets needs to be offered. The app offers very little.
-- Tubewayarmy, 2024-12-15

### ****- "Mostly useful"
Why did they remove the feature where you could record that you had visited a property? This was a useful feature when it was available.
-- Lawh61, 2024-12-15

### ***-- "Ok but"
I find the app useful for what it does. But I think the filtering logic is not right. When I want houses or parks with EV parking, I want a map of sites that have houses/parks AND EV charging. What it seems to give is a map of ALL houses and parks and also ALL other sites that have charging.
Also to be able to filter on sites that also have a café or restaurant would be very, very helpful. obviously the intention should be for the filter to exclude sites they do not have café or restaurant. just as the EV parking filter should exclude sites that do not have a charger.

There seems to be no info in the app about the EV charging – you have to go to the website where it is listed under facilities . It would also be useful to know which company runs the charger, as there are so many, each requiring different ways of paying.
-- howfindunusedname?, 2024-12-01

### *---- "Scotland NTS"
The app doesn’t allow you to look for locations in Scotland.
-- BOXERCLAN, 2024-11-11

### *---- "No digital membership card"
4 years you’ve promised a digital membership card, come on, it’s really not that difficult!! They say they care about the environment, but this and a magazine that is printed and posted proves otherwise.
