No Scotland sites

Angelabray on

Absolutely ridiculous. I live in Scotland, pay for it to enter the Scottish sites and nothing on the map. If you have sites in a country and accept money from that country. Show them. Cancelled our subscription. Can’t plan at all.

Simple review. It’s rubbish.

Gubbyuk on

So pretty much the same comments as everyone else. No favourites, still no digital card yet, managed to take an ok app and give us this kakola instead. Come on. How many times have you said ”we’re fixing it”. Are you actually listening to the membership at all? You know what. I’m not going to bother renewing this year. This has been going on for several years now. Why should I give money to an organisation that doesn’t listen to its members?

Nowhere good enough

dr_dimples on

Distances quoted are, presumably, ‘as the crow flies’. What’s the point of telling me the white cliffs of Dover are 51 miles away when the location of my search is on the Essex Coast just outside Clayton?

So much potential

Jo the hippy on

I heard that you are developing a new app by a volunteer where your card could be stored on it. This was so long ago now. This app is poor and could be so much better!

How can an Upgrade downgrade what you get?

almost idiot proof! on

Perhaps they had to fix bugs, but calling this an upgrade is a contradiction in terms. The “my places” part of the app has been removed and isn’t it about time that they added a digital card option that can be added to the Apple Wallet? Think how much money they would save. Perhaps the National Trust is concentrating on being “ Woke” rather than listening to what it’s members want.

As ours have said …

Anon colour on

No digital membership card. No favourites option.

Its 2024 it could be better

citizenwithbike on

Repeating my review from 5 years ago! Still no card option on the app which is really really poor. What is the point of the app? Does nothing that google cant so its a waste of space on my phone. I never carry my wallet (like many people now). No need. Pay and use my phone for everything. This app has the ability to sign in so why no phone based membership card? Your missing out on parking meter scanning and its a hassle everytime I go somewhere and they have to look me up. If I carried every card I was issued then my wallet would be a 30litre rucksack.

My Account

SteveSurbiton on

No simple linkage from web or app. No wallet card Email announcing it looked like a scam .

Latest version crashes

bb.mm on

Just downloaded the latest version and it always crashes. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I wish I hadn’t bothered, at least the older version was still working.

Very limited app

Yorkshire Wanderer on

The idea is good but the app is hopeless as an app for members as it is so limited in scope. It’s not even possible to retrieve membership details and there is no digital membership card or access to a member’s QR code which is needed if you want to park in a NT car park or enter a National Trust building. In the event of leaving the physical NT card at home a member must resort to phoning the NT and requesting a temporary pass by email which is crazy in this day and age. Come on National Trust, you need to develop the app to a decent, functional level as a matter of urgency!
