Ikke betal, "alex-the-best-apple-voice...".
Appen kan brukes uten å betale (versjon 4.5.), med for eksempel den Engelske stemmen Alex, større versjon tilgjengelig, som er for iOS og iPadOS, under "Free" i appen, og kan virke uten internett. Konto for denne tjenesten kan lages med Apple ID hvor du kan velge å skjule e-post adresse. Stemmer under "Premium" koster mer for en måned enn for hva de kan brukes for alltid i andre apper som Capti og Voice Dream. Stemmer under "Plus" sies å være AI, men er bare marginalt bedre enn "Premium" større US stemme Sharon og koster mye mere; UK stemme Amy er laget for lenge siden. Uten å betale er det mulige å laste opp bøker fra filer i ePub og PDF format, søk virker fint, bokmerker og mapper mellom enheter, men bruker ikke iCloud. På iPad kan appen brukes i delt skjerm, sammen med en annen app, som støtter dette.
