This is saving me
This will help me with my massage therapy class I’m taking the next 6 months real life saver Natural reader.
My new fav
I switched over to Naturalreader as an extension late 2023, and it's quickly become my preference for all devices. I can chose between ALL my preinstalled voices, can set pronunciation preferences (even though I wished that feature worked with more special characters for more specification) and every other little detail in between. My one issue is with closing the app. It'll keep running when I close the app, but 9/10 times, once I pause it, it'll go into a bugged-out state in which I can't hear my content until I re-open the app, which is a shame since I love this app for on the go. I hope that this bug can be fixed, but otherwise have definitely enjoyed NaturalReader. Thanks for being awesome!

Having options on AI voices is a life saver!!
I love the apps because the user friendly functions to add any types of files to read it with the voices of your choice and plus community voices are added for the use of the apps without having to pay the subscription for too long when you’re good with just one favorite reader voice. No other apps I found made it easier like this one :)
Everything cost money
Only 5mins of “free” text to voice
Had to re upload my texts
Had to re upload my texts on my desktop, can’t access them on the mobile app. Says I have 0 in library. Frustrating app to use, the interface feels cheap for how much the packages cost.
Excellent for PDF to Text
I’ve tried several reader apps and NaturalReader by far exceeds the other apps. I do have the premium paid version. Voices are great and a nice selection. There’s some weirdness with AI *sometimes* not adequately translating what’s on the page to voice and I haven’t figured out a workaround. For my purposes, though, it doesn’t impact the app. The 4 star instead of 5 star is due to app having a “character limit” so if I exceed those (while listening to a book), it reverts to a much more robotic voice until their system resets at midnight. It makes no sense to me when I’m paying $100+ a year that I can’t listen to stories in the voice I want as much as I want (but I can still listen to them). Also since their subscription options don’t offer an option to do that. However, I use this app every single day and am immensely grateful for it. If I have a story I’m listening to, it makes extending the time on the dreadmill at lot more likely. 🤓
