## NatWest Rooster Money Description
Welcome to NatWest Rooster Money - a pocket money manager, piggy bank, reward chart,
savings tracker and chores app. We also have an optional contactless Visa card that helps
parents give their kids a head start with money.

With Rooster Money, parents can take children from their first steps in understanding the value
of money, to their first bank account. Start by using the app as a star or sticker chart to let them
earn rewards; move them onto managing their own money with a pocket money tracker, before
going on to a Rooster Card - a contactless Visa card for kids.

Sign up to track pocket money, manage savings, create goals, set parental controls, add limits
and enable your child to make real life transactions online and in store using their own card.

We also offer the Rooster Card for extra features like our chore manager, extra family members,
and setting interest rates. The Rooster Card is a kids’ card (also a teens card), which links to
your family’s Rooster Money account.

PRICING and TERMS

Rooster Money is free to download. For UK customers with children over 6 years old, we offer
the Rooster Card, a contactless Visa card which links to the family’s Rooster Money account.
This provides all the features of the Rooster Money App with the ability to use real money for
£1.99/mo or £19.99/yr.

Subscriptions will automatically renew unless turned off at least 48-hours before the current
subscription period. Manage your subscription, change plans and turn auto-renewal off by going
to your phone’s Account Settings.

We used the Rooster cards as a safe way of helping our children aged 15 (who is neurodiverse) and 10 to learn about financial independence. 

The ability for them to use, with our supervision at first, contactless and chip and pin payments to access their pocket money has given them consumer confidence when out and about with us. 

With the parent account I can manage how much au give them and give them added bonuses when they are helpful at home or school. 

They are helping each other to learn too meaning we can be take a step back and watch their independence grow every time they use their cards on their own. 

There are lots of great safety features which can be activated immediately in the event of lost or stolen cards, giving additional peace of mind.
