Please fix the sign up bug! I can’t proceed past the tos acceptance
I seen where Hagen Grubbs Fishing said he used this app so I downloaded it. I entered my information as it requested. Made it to the agreement page and looked over the privacy info. I agreed and went to proceed and nothing. Not sure where they want me to go or do at this point but would really like to get this app to work so I can start finding some new places to fish. Help me out
I just downloaded Navionics on an apple device, created an account and opted for a free trial, but I cannot access the app, as it won’t let me pass of one of the initial screen where I have to press ‘proceed’ when this message appears: “Before you proceed, check the Terms of Use. They regulate how you can utilize our services.” Then I have to check the box where it says “I give my consent to the processing of my data…….”( a longer message), I check the box by clicking on it but the button “Proceed” does not lit up/activate, therefore I cannot go on and my apps remains on the same screen the entire time and I cannot access it. It simply just stays like that. I tried updating ot, it does the same thing!!!!
I cannot get past the check terms of the processing ??
Paid full price a couple years ago and now none of the features work without an additional yearly subscription.
I was willing to live with the huge price increase via changes that required I purchase combined maps, most of which I had no need of, and the change to requiring a subscription because I was already buying new maps each year. The last straw was when I read the new subscription agreement stating you lose access to the maps when the sub is cancelled, unlike previously where I still had access to the maps I already paid for. I switched to Aqua Maps.
just updated the app. I can not proceed because on the Consent page, after I check “I give my consent…” the Proceed button still is not enabled. App is unusable to any new users.
I don’t understand why Garmin removed the ability to import routes from the phone to the chartplotter. They are both Navionics. I pay for both pieces of software for the same charts. Yet I cannot export from the phone to the Garmin gpdmap 8610. When I called support, they said it was corporate. I bought the Navionics+ for the plotter and also for the iPhone/tablet. Why can’t I export routes? Why are you forcing us to use the subpar active captain charts? They don’t have the same data. Routes on the plotter are not as easy to create as by app. Please bring back the exporting of routes to plotters.
This really is an awesome app with feature like the sonar chart (TM) depths, automatic routing, integration with MFD Navionics charts… unfortunately as of last fall the the company has now restricted to two devices. Load on one phone and one tablet for the boat and you’re done. This makes it really impractical, if not impossible for the average cruising couple to use. We load it on our boat tablet and then have to log out of either the account on my phone or the account on her phone to use at any given time. I think it’s ridiculous for cruising couple to have to pay for two different different subscriptions to have an easy seamless experience. Given this, we’re switching to use Aqua Map on our mobile devices which allows for up to five devices unfortunately we’re sort of stuck with still paying money to NAVEX for quality maps for our MFD, but exploring alternatives there as well to avoid having to give more money to a company that takes this approach.
I have been using this app for years when I paid $15 for it. That was the most expensive app I purchased at the time back then. It was most definitely a 5 star app for years. I have almost 140 routes saved and synced between my iPhone and my wife’s iPhone over the years with tremendous success. I was always very pleased with the detail for each particular lake as we boat on many here in the Midwest. Using my iPhone 15+ Pro Max I can’t even get maps to zoom in to show me anything other than a blocky outline of the lake. My wife’s iPhone 12+ Pro Max still has the high resolution on the lakes that we downloaded, but it will not download any other lakes that were wishing to visit. I don’t know what’s going on with Navionics, I just hope whoever the greedy people and HORRIBLE decision makers are who have absolutely ruined this app hold their heads in shame. I’m now looking for a new app as I can no longer recommend Navionics to anyone. In fact, I would highly discourage anyone from wasting their time or money with this app until they get their act together. HUGE MISTAKE AND DISAPPOINTMENT Navionics staff !!!! Fail
