NCalc Scientific Calculator +

Good app

I wish I can give this app 10 stars! It is super useful.

This calculator was tolerable but not anymore. The UI is kinda weird (see below) but it was usable. The recent update has made this app almost unusable. It regularly stops taking input from the keyboard on my Mac for no apparant reason. It simply beeps when I press a key with no visual error. I have to quit the app and restart to get it to work again. Also, you should be able to click and change anything on the screen and have the calculator recalculate everything. But for some reason you cannot do this. Moreover the arrow keys don't let you move the cursor around. This app needs some love.

My favourite and go to calculator app, works amazing, the set up is great, and I can download it on all my devices. 10/10.

I was looking for a calculator with a history of previous calculations, that you can copy and use again with changes. I also wanted memories, with a fast and simple layout. NCALC is the only calculator on iOS that I have found that has these features. There is way more, I have found. Many things that remind me of university courses, as well as plenty of stuff that I have no idea how to use. You can make your own functions pretty easily (foreign exchange, tipping, interest payments…). There are easy unit conversion functions included. I am having fun with the graphing as well. Well done!!

11/10 God bless this app, I hate using other calculator apps when I don’t have a real one on hand because they’re all clunky and odd. This app has helped me so so much throughout my degree and is absolutely perfect.

Fantastic calculator packed with so many features!

I forgot my calculator, I had a whole document (sec4 advanced math) to do before and exam. I tried other apps but this one has all the keys a needed. It was like having my calculator with me. I was impressed, pretty similar to my calculator so it was not hard to understand compared to other apps. Definitely recommend if you need to calculate fractions, parabolic diagrams or equations.
