The app opens up and goes straight to there marketing preferences page, then doesn’t allow you to go to the home page.. so basically doesn’t let you pay via the app. I’m sure NCP would use this as a way to drum up a few extra parking fine for their local customers.. NCP is always a last resort for me..
Ever since the update theres issue upon issue. The current one rendered the app useless! When opening the app is will ask you to update your marketing preferences. But no matter what you choose an error will occur and will ask you to try again. Whatever you do you cannot bypass this screen to even go to pull up a QR code so you can access the car park. Don’t waste your time and patience.
I can’t even get past the start screen when you need to opt out of notifications - whatever you do it says an error has occurred and takes you back to the same screen. I didn’t have cash, the card reader wasn’t working, so I had to go and re-park in a non-NCP car park. The old app used to be fine, but this is completely hopeless.
App always has some kind of Bug that prevents me from paying. The car parks themselves never have any working ticket machines. It seems you don’t want peoples custom?
This app is terrible. It won’t even let me move past the first pop up page that asks for your contact preferences so can’t even set up an account! Can’t park at any NCP sites now!
I have never written a review before but am compelled to say how appalling this app is. Where to start???? I could not even finish registering. Not only is this a poor design it does not allow you to add a payment method. I got stuck three times trying to add my debit card. The validation from my banking app never resulted in moving forward. Do yourself a favour and just pay at the kiosk in the car park!! Avoid this app at all costs!!!!!
New app disabled due to failed payment, however, as the app refused to accept any cards as payment methods, I was required to call everyday and pay over the phone. My app has been disabled and the online chat is unavailable? Called multiple times for over a hour each time and never connected to an advisor. I will not be using this car park or useless application ever again!
NCP messed up my records for parking for a £4.95 park. I had autopay set up in this app and the previous app, it took the money, sent me a receipt, and I ended up with a £100 PCN. Oh, and I failed the PCN appeal, despite paying for parking. I am left feeling that I have just had a shake-down, this is a company you should not deal with. DO NOT USE
I chose to pay by using the app so i had the ability to extend the parking if needed…surprise surprise when it came to extend it just kept telling me there was a fault! Not impressed with this, will be deleting this app and using another car park in future.
Probably the worst App I have ever used. Wouldn’t accept my password and repeated failures to send a reset code. Not sure NCP actually wants people to use this app.
