This needs to be able to use on a 5g network. I can’t recalibrate the litter or use the app period. Makes no sense why there is an app that only works for a smaller network. Not happy.

### *---- "Why add AI to a litterbox app?"
No, seriously? What manager thought this was a good idea? It’s an app about litterboxes. If I had questions about my cat’s health and for some reason I wanted to ask an AI chatbot, I would just ask ChatGPT in their own app.

Of course, I’m a sane person who cares about my pets, so I’d never leave their medical decisions up to a hallucinating math equation. Please remove this garbage bloat from your app.

I can’t use this app for my $500 litter box, because apparently, I’m too tech savvy and am using the most recent router technology. 

Thanks guys. Why not just limit us to 14.4 modems, Neakasa? Are you kidding me? I’m on the verge of retuning this.

### ***** "No problems at all, the app is working great!"
Despite some negative reviews, I'm very happy with this app and the accompanying litter robot.  

After a quick update, I haven't experienced the issues others mentioned.  

The weight readings are accurate about 95% of the time. 

My only suggestion is to improve the "full" notification for the waste bin.  Currently, it only shows "normal" or "full," and then the bin is upside down.  

A warning 1/2 day before the bin is full would be great.

Overall, though, I'm extremely satisfied.

Love the litter box but the app itself is annoying. It doesn’t notify me like it should. Also ads in an app after I paid $500 for a litter box?!

### *---- "The box is great, the app is horrible!!!!"
For the price of this box, the app should actually work and provide accurate information.  What it promised - info on usage and the cat itself - is the reason I chose this box over others.  As others have said, my cat's weight varied greatly and switched back-and-forth from kilograms to pounds.  Sometimes it recognized my (one) cat and sometimes it did not.
Notice the past tense verbs - last month the usage/history information stopped recording. As if that's not bad enough, I have contacted Neakasa more than once and finally just received what is obviously a generic reply about how to reset the app. All of which I had already done and did not work.
The good news is that the box works great – so far – and I hope that continues, after this honest review of the app… I can't imagine what will happen if the box stops working, since they can't even give me good Customer Service about the app!

The app will constantly put ads for their store in your face. It also sends promotional push notifications which can’t be disabled aside from muting the whole app, but then you can’t get any notifications about the litter box. Infuriating.

### ****- "The app has worked fine so far"
When I first got the Neakasa M1, I almost didn’t download the app because of the poor ratings. But the device didn’t quite seem level initially, so I finally did download the app, and followed the instructions to configure and level the M1.

I’ve had no problems at all with the app so far. I use it to calibrate the device whenever I refill it or change litter brands, and to check on how many times my cat has used it.

The app also shows me its view of whether my cat’s weight has gone up or down over time. (That said, I don’t use the device and app to formally weigh my cat. I pick her up and stand on my scale, step off, set her down, and stand on my scale again and then calculate the difference.)

The litter box is not detecting the waste bin which is full inserted and it’s spamming notifications every 5 seconds. This is useless. It’s bad enough the sensor is unable to detect the waste bin when it’s inserted but spamming notifications like this makes this app completely useless and will be the first thing I tell anyone about this product. Fix your software. 

I’m going to have to disable all notifications because of this false positive. Very irritated

Box seems like it can be useful, but impossible to set up with the app. Buttons don’t work, clunky pages, all around headache. After an hour trying to set this up on the app, I am over it. PLEASE update the app so your prompts will actually work.

The Neakasa M1 it’s my favorite automatic litter box, and a big part of it is the app. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able go monitor health issues as much, but the feature that the app has do measures the amount of time each cat is in the litter box helps me understand if any are straining when using the toilet. I have cats that weigh almost the same so I can’t really speak to the weighing function

App is generally great. I have the M1 cat litter device. They do a decent job of detecting which cat of 5.  Some are close to same weight so I don’t fault it for wrong cat. (Suggest Maybe an rfid collar reader at some point for identifying which cat is in it.) A few English localization issues. (Some buttons labeled “Knew it” instead of “Okay” or “Acknowledged”. Another annoying thing is an unidentified cat is always reported in kg instead of lbs, which is odd when you have lbs units selected. Generally a great app that gives you info when you need it, like waste bin full, which requires action on owner’s part.

Every required element is done but my litter box will not connect to the internet through this app. None of the features I paid for are available to me. I have 4 cats and never know which one is having a problem. I still won’t. Fix it!

The liter box itself is amazing but the app is terrible. You get logged out after a certain amount of time and then you can’t get back in with your username and password or if you try to reset your password it gives you an error. Absolutely terrible when needing to recalibrate with new liter!
