No ads. No accounts. No paywalls. No premium tier. Nedaa (Arabic: نداء, "the call" — a reference to the Adhan) is built around accurate prayer times, real OS-level Fajr alarms, daily Athkar, Qibla, Hijri tools, an Umrah guide, a Qada (fasting) tracker, and a Quran mushaf reader with recitation audio. ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES — ANYWHERE • 22 calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Egyptian, Diyanet, JAKIM, Kemenag, Singapore MUIS, and more) • Both Hanafi and standard Asr juristic schools • High-latitude adjustment • Works offline after first sync — no internet needed afterwards • Provider-abstracted at the API layer, currently powered by the Aladhan API A PRAYER ALARM THAT ACTUALLY WAKES YOU • Real OS-level alarms — not notifications • Apple AlarmKit on iOS 26+ (alarm feature requires iOS 26) • Three first-class alarm types: Fajr, Jummah, and custom • Bypasses Do Not Disturb and silent mode • Optional wake-up challenges (tap or math) • Custom Athan sound per alarm type READ THE QURAN • A full Mushaf in the edition you choose, including a tajweed-coloured one • A flowing Text mode with adjustable size • Recitation with word-by-word read-along, and per-surah downloads for offline listening • Search across surah names and verse text • Colour highlights, saved-place bookmarks, and ayah copy and share • A similar-verses tool for memorizers, plus a tajweed, stop-sign and sajda guide • Editions download on demand — nothing Quran ships inside the app DAILY ATHKAR • Morning and evening remembrances from the Hisn al-Muslim dataset (Sa'id ibn Ali ibn Wahaf al-Qahtani) • Multiple reciter audio voices • Focus-mode reader • Custom user-added athkar • Gentle, non-gamified habit tracking with pause/resume UMRAH GUIDE • Step-by-step guide for every ritual • Full Prophetic dua at Safa and Marwa • Everything you need offline, in one place QADA FASTING TRACKER • Counts down missed Ramadan fasts • Ramadan-anchored reminder for the canonical "make up before next Ramadan" deadline • Privacy-mode hide WIDGETS • Home Screen widgets for all prayers or just the next one • Lock Screen widgets with countdown timers • Ramadan-ready: Suhoor and Iftar widgets PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN • Low-accuracy location, used only to compute prayer times — stays on device • No advertising ID, no install graph, no contacts access, no profile across devices • Open source — audit how your data is handled at github.com/NedaaDevs/nedaa • Source transparency: Tanzil Project (Quran text, CC-BY 3.0), Hisn al-Muslim (athkar), Aladhan (prayer times) — all credited in the app LANGUAGES • English, Arabic, Malay, Urdu — RTL-first design Nedaa is open source under its license at github.com/NedaaDevs/nedaa.
