Key to being happy with the app when it doesn’t work is to simply close the app completely (swipe up when checking open apps) and then reopening. It will then refresh Bluetooth and work perfectly. Problem is that people move in and out of Bluetooth range and it doesn’t always reconnect properly. Easily fixed though. They keep the app up to date and have continued to add features. Sooner or later they will figure out how to group things a little better…and perhaps allow us to synchronize lights in a controlled fashion. Version 3.4.1 is a disaster! Most of the custom names I assigned to devices have been reset to the generic device names (ie. TL21C-AY3P). I have (or had) 15 devices paired to the app. To try and re-identify them I unpaired them so I could add them back to the app one at a time…but now the app won’t pair with the devices!! I have the lights in pairing mode (flashing Bluetooth indicator on each light) but the app won’t find them for pairing. 🤦🏻‍♂️ What an absolute disgrace. Do the NEEWER app engineers actually test anything before they push an update? Because this update has ruined my workflow and made controlling my lights a nightmare. Tips: You should have a YouTube tutorial on how to navigate the app. Fix the first time registration. Have an option to register, there is currently no option, only guest. . .
