Useful posts about safety that clearly meet community guidelines are often denied. Not a very good app.

This app is supposed to help neighbors keep each other informed, but, When you post that you’ve seen a dog running loose in your area, something or someone has to approve. The dog is long gone before anyone sees what you’ve posted. Also, you’ll see a post in your Notification Center, but when you click on it, it’s nowhere to be found. I’m always amazed by “tech” companies who can’t do tech.

First of all, you need to add a menu item for app/developer feedback for comments and suggestions. I would like to see lost pets separated into 2 different map indicators. 1 for lost pets and 1 for found pets. It is often confusing whether or not the pet posted has been lost or is a pet that someone found. Try thinking from an anxious pet owners perspective and how you’d feel clicking thru dozens of map events that say lost and found pets and having to read thru each post many of which are missing helpful context, to figure out if it is your pet that was found or another pet that someone else is looking for. This really should be a no brainer. Many users remark this same missing feature so I think it’s justified in making that improvement. Also, as I began, you need to make it easier to submit app suggestions and feedback.

Tried to warn other neighbors about suspicious activity at 12:38 in the morning which I called the police for. Neighbors didn’t deem it appropriate for their app

“Neighbors” refuses to do anything about someone in our area who makes hundreds of fake posts at night very late 12am-2am in effort to wake people up with notifications. Over 100 posts in 3 days and they refuse to limit this persons posting capabilities or even look into it. They said “just keep reporting” so this has been going on for over a week with no end in sight. Everyone in our area is turning notifications off but we shouldn’t have to. We should be able to use the app as intended. Instead we’re all paying for someone who WANTS to ruin it for others and is allowed to do so. Thanks Neighbors, glad to know you don’t care about your paying customers and support someone with terrible intentions.

Can’t report legitimate local crime issues as they keep getting rejected. Deleted.
