## Nest Pensions Description
Want a handy way to check on your pension savings? With the Nest pensions app:

•	Log in easily and securely using biometric (fingerprint or face ID) or PIN
•	View your pension pot dashboard
•	View contributions added to your pot by you, your employer and the government’s tax relief
•	View your fund your pot is invested in
•	Keep your account details like address, phone and email up-to-date
•	Add or manage beneficiaries for your pot
•	View and send secure messages

Getting started:

You must be a Nest member to use the app.

If you have already set up your Nest account online:
•	Log in to the app using the same username and password that you use to log in to your member account on our website – nestpensions.org.uk
•	You will then be asked to set up a 6 digit PIN, followed by the option to set up biometric (fingerprint or face ID) login, either of which you can then use to going forward to log in.

If you haven’t already set up your Nest account online:
•	Go to nestpensions.org.uk to register. You’ll need your Nest member ID from a letter you have received from us
•	Then download the Nest Pensions app and log in as per the process given above

Help and Support:

If you need support, you’ll find it in the Help section of our app. The Member Help Centre on our website also has app support.
If you have a question about your Nest account or pension pot, log into the app or our website to send us a secure message.

I’m glad to see that an app has finally been developed because, quite frankly, navigating the website in 2024 feels like an unnecessarily bureaucratic challenge. It has always surprised me that you don’t send emails directly with updates; instead, users have to log into their accounts, download letters, and then read them. This system is incredibly outdated and inefficient—it really needs to be improved.

As for the app, I was unable to log in, even though I entered the correct credentials. This is quite frustrating and adds to the overall experience of an outdated system.

I strongly recommend considering an upgrade with the help of experienced professionals to modernize your approach and keep up with current expectations. As things stand, the experience is very poor.

Navigating to a screen that enables savers to withdraw money from the scheme is not obvious. Please correct this.

Please add Face ID login as a high priority. Additionally, please simplify the contributions history - having the individuals contributions not add up to the total contributions (because of fees and tax relief) does not make tracking contributions easy, and other pension providers do not display contributions this way.

Responses are long but useless. Quantity over quality.

Keeps telling me that my account is locked because I’ve had three unsuccessful attempts to log in, which is odd as I haven’t logged in in over a year. They send me an email to reset my account on their website and when I try to it says…

“Page unavailable
Unfortunately we're experiencing a problem with our website at the moment.
We've let our Support Team know and they are working to fix it. We're sorry for any inconvenience”

so I’m currently locked out of my account with no way of getting in unless I phone them, what a waste of everyone’s time. Ridiculous!

Recent user of the app - used correct details but kept saying password incorrect - reset password then locked account 

Unlocked account and then crashed with a technical error 

Maybe worth actually testing the app properly and implementing biometric login to bring it up to 2020 standards let alone 2024!!
