NetNewsWire: RSS Reader

I had been using NetNewsWire from its beginning when it was just on the Mac, one of the first RSS clients around. Then switched to other clients over time that supported iOS and cloud sync. After NetNewsWire made a nice comeback with cloud sync and multiplatform support, it’s been one of the apps I use most.

It’s a nice functional RSS app, that I just started using. ;) Bonus: It is refreshing to see an app purpose built for iOS. I’m not liking the trend where so many modern apps require hundreds of MB to download and install then only to discover you don’t really even like the app after using it.

自分はRSSのヘビーユーザーでは無いのですが、最低限の機能が備わったRSSリーダーを探していました。私が欲しかった ・iCloudとフィードが連携できる ・フォルダ分けできる ・iPhoneとiPad両対応 ・リーダーモードがあって、フリックでサクサク読める ・フィード毎に通知設定ができる ・読み終わった記事は非表示 は完璧にサポートしています。 しかも、このような優秀なアプリには是非お金を払いたいと思ったのですが、サポートページを見たら愛のために作ったのでお金は送らないでと、、、。 なので、レビューで還元させてください。 どうもありがとうございます。

例えばNHKニュースは検索出来ますが、CNET Japanは全く検索出来ません

Before I knew it, this app was taking up more than 600 MB of iPhone storage. This is a very good app as an RSS reader, but it eats up too much data volume. I would like to have the ability to delete the cache.

Twitterとの連携が削除され、クライアントとしての便利さはもう得られないのか…、NetNewsWireのせいでは無いけど、残念。 これまで通り、RSSリーダーとして便利に使わせてもらいます。

If I close app, did it being sync any feed? If it not I would like to automatic sync in background. Like 30min 1hour 2hour sync in background. (when closed app.) I’d like to see badge’s and notifications in closed app.
