Seit 2006 schließen sich alle vier Jahre mehrere neuromedizinische Fachgesellschaften zusammen, um ihre Jahreskongresse unter einem Dach zu begehen. In 2022 sind dies, unter der Gesamtkoordination von Prof. Wolfgang Wick aus Heidelberg, die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurologie (DGN) als Generalveranstalter, die Gesellschaft für Neuropädiatrie (GNP) mit ihrem Tagungspräsidenten Prof. Florian Heinen sowie die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neuropathologie und Neuroanatomie (DGNN) mit ihrem Tagungspräsidenten Prof. Andreas von Deimling. Mit diesem Konzept entstehen Synergien und neue Interaktionen: Die Neurowoche 2022 hat den Anspruch, das gesamte Spektrum der neurologischen, neuropathologischen und neuropädiatrischen Krankheitsbilder darzustellen. Um die Kooperationen der Fächer zu verdeutlichen, wird es wieder bewährte interdisziplinäre Symposien geben, auf denen die wichtigsten neurologischen Krankheitsentitäten aus den Blickwinkeln des Neuropathologen, Neuropädiaters und Neurologen dargestellt werden. Mit der App können Besucher nach Themen, Referierenden und Ausstellern suchen, Abstracts lesen und sich anhand des Raumplanes orientieren.
