From ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this iOS 18.X update, DSD and high-resolution PCM are fixed. However, the issue of iPhone 16 experiencing white noise (similar to iPhone 15) while playing DSD audio files persists. This suggests that the problem may be specific to iPhones, potentially involving the USB-C port driver. Notably, my iPad does not encounter this issue. Everything is playing at 44.1 also DSD is not working over DoP.
This is truly the end-game media player for the extremely picky mobile-listening enthusiast. If you keep lossless files on your phone, travel with a DAC amp and headphones, want access to any and all audio hardware and file library tweaking, this is the app for you. There is definitely a learning curve but only because the software is so comprehensive. The parametric EQ is superb. I also use the limiter to ensure I don't clip. Gapless playback works perfectly. I'm the kind of person who makes a fresh playlist for almost every session, and the library offers both on-the-fly queueing as well as a proper playlist bank. Plus, the app is still under development as of 2024. Truly an accomplishment, my mobile setup is finally bossed up.
Feel and looks cheaply developed. Every file it found on my phone populates as a long file number with no music rather than a music file that’s playable.

This player is awesome, but it seems to overheat my phone. Also, I have to often close it to be able to navigate easily, because it sometimes freezes up. I don't know why. Anyone aware of these issues? Please let me know. Thanks.
Very good player, and highly configurable, More options than most folks would want or need, but undoubtedly appreciated by those who do want or need them! FYI: As of 18 September 2024, the current Apple version continues to install 2.24.6-ios, with the broken playback of gapless FLAC, as opposed to the fixed 2.24.7 version indicated in updates. (Deleted and reinstalled twice to confirm.)
I own the android version of this app and it works great. However, this does not work for my iPhone. I have a 15 pro and it will not for the love of God find any music whatsoever. I have 52 gigs of music on my phone, I have done everything that I possibly can for this application to find that music. I’ve tried to drag and drop, I even though, I hate it put iTunes on my Windows PC and was finally able to transfer music over to my iPhone so I know it’s on there. It’s in that little iTunes folder that it loves to live in. If I try to point the directory to that location, it doesn’t show up. I don’t have any way of doing it if I have it manually scan it won’t it just doesn’t find anything so long story short I paid five dollars for it on android mini mini years ago and I paid 8.99 that I’ll never get back unfortunately this just doesn’t work. All I can say is I wish power amp would make an iOS version.

Terrible, unfinished app. There are strange noises and clicks at the beginning of tracks, which don’t happen in other players like foobar2000. The interface is unfriendly and inconvenient. It's not worth the money. I do not recommend it.
Changing my review from 5 ⭐️ to one. This update is garbage adding ads to the app. What a shame
