Eventually a group of Bible scholars came together in 1990 under the leadership of the SOCIETY OF ST PAUL (ST PAULS) to revise and adapt The Christian Community Bible to the needs of today's world. One of the strong points of The Christian Community Bible was the Commentary that ran all along the text of the Bible. The scholars felt that any serious and contextualized Commentary on the Sacred Text could not ignore the rich cultural and religious heritage of peoples. Reference had to be made, therefore, to the Biblical values found also in other world religions. The commentary had to be re-written in toto. A careful revision of the text too was called for in some instances. The project took off with great enthusiasm, but difficulties along the way (some of them unavoidable) delayed the work. After a decade and a half of hard work, we have the joy of presenting to the global readership The New Community Bible (NCB). It is a matter of great satisfaction for us that quite a few of the best Bible scholars of our times have contributed directly or indirectly to the making of this MEW Bible, the NCB and now the new and improved NCB App. ## New Community Bible Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/fa/e4/f6/fae4f688-e671-1d42-d2f1-7f5957af9a88/2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/79/75/84/79758480-4f3a-4bdc-8d3a-a1320bcdb9c3/1.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ac/e2/a0/ace2a07d-9bd2-e6ef-4f3e-8e216280ee46/4.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e2/03/83/e203831d-9c07-7c49-59a0-543668d58ab0/3.png/1242x2688.png) ## New Community Bible Rating Breakdown in India - 5 stars: 7 (54%) - 4 stars: 3 (23%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 3 (23%) ## New Community Bible Reviews in India ### *---- "Error while opening verses" The file is creating error while opening the verses -- VikramXavier, 2025-03-13 ### ****- "Blank screen" After the first page the screen is blank.
