## NewMindStart Reviews in United States

### *---- "Charging me but never signed up"
Watch out for this app they are shady. I signed up for the free account and it immediately started charging me. I’ve written Emails and heard nothing and they continue to charge me $39.99 a month
-- Alijojolambo, 2026-10-04

### *---- "Misleading"
I bought a class because they promised you would have access to that class forever. But that’s not true. Once the cheap membership ends, you can’t access it again. So, they are lying.

Also, the ads said the videos were 10 minutes a day. Each one was 40 minutes or more, it was hard to get through them in the 7 day period. They weren’t broken up. There was no real routine or plan to follow or explanation. It’s just a money grab. $39.99 a month is outrageous.
-- Travelngirl, 2026-09-30

### *---- "Scam"
Signed up to try it for a week. Billed and paid $7. Was then unexpectedly billed for an entire
month at $39. Cancelled. Ok, don’t go, how about $9 a month? How about no.
-- Alarmsgoingoff, 2026-09-16

### ****- "I highly recommend!"
I really like this app. The price is great and I have easy access to a lot of classes/ videos that are a good fit for me. I like the Vagal Nerve Reset program, one on constipation, pelvic floor, and I’m just now about to dive in neuro reset videos for kids with neuro issues/ adhd, needing help calming the nervous system. And I see lots of those. Sometimes I have some problems with the videos such as when I pause it for some reason the screen may lock up and I have to get off the app and back on it. I always use my iPhone. I don’t do any “spiritual” education ones bc I am a believer in Jesus and the Bible is my spiritual education source. I’m also interested in the Qi Gong lessons. Hopefully they offer some that are not too “spiritual-y” for my taste. The first one I did was not, thankfully.
-- fgffgfrgxs, 2026-09-12

### *---- "Dishonest billing"
I had cancelled my membership and they still charged me. Don’t fall for it.
-- kitty2006, 2026-08-29

### **--- "Scam!"
You pay a little money for a set that will help, then a few days later they charge $20, and if you don’t pay you lose access to the items you paid for initially. Lovely. Devs, don’t talk to me.
-- Soyoucanthrowmetothewolves, 2026-08-20

### *---- "Scam"
This app and developer are misleading and will not offer a refund after the 3 day trial. The advertisement says $1 for lifetime access, and that you have two weeks to get a refund. The $1 is only for three day trial, and then they charge you offering no refund. Do not fall for this scam.
-- mixmastrmac, 2026-08-06

### *---- "Scammy"
Tricks you into getting a $1 trial and will keep charging you after with no refunds after cancelling immediately.
-- Hovlandleah, 2026-08-06

### *---- "SCAM!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!"
I cancelled my subscription and they still charged me. Almost scam like. Don’t get this app. There are a plethora of others you can use.
-- Mike S. Hardaway, 2026-08-02

### *---- "DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!"
Very scammy behaviour, gave a $1 “lifetime” offer then proceeded to charge me $39 on separate occasions due to “fine print” details and the subscription cannot be cancelled in the app for some reason, you have to email them.
-- Totem145, 2026-07-28

### *---- "It’s a Scam"
Pls don’t use this app. Even after canceling the app, they charged me and they said that they can issue me with a refund. Waste of money. I’m going on all social media to make sure no one uses this scam
-- H29 Arena, 2026-07-28

### *---- "Dooped"
The app continuously logs me out, so I had issues with cancelling before being charged after the trial period. Then, they refused a refund.

The courses I got it for provided no course materials so I’m even struggling to do it at all. Waste of $40!
-- Zcat00, 2026-07-27

### *---- "Made it impossible to cancel"
Incredibly frustrating experience. I enjoyed the app at first, but $40 a month got expensive. The most recent renewal bounced because my account was empty. I went to log in and cancel my subscription, but it said my account was no longer active. I let it go thinking they cancelled me since the payment didn’t go through. They tried charging it again two days later, and since I had been paid it went through. I immediately tried to log in again, I was now able to, and cancelled the subscription. I reached out explaining I had not had access to my account after the payment failed and requested they refund the newest charge. Of course they didn’t. Absolutely no help, and told me that I should have gone in to cancel. I explained again that I tried twice but no longer had access, so I thought they cancelled me. They said that didn’t happen. I’m sure people claim to try cancelling but I genuinely did. Beware, if you miss a payment you’ll be unable to access your account, and they will continue charging until it goes through.
-- Lyss Connor, 2026-07-25

### *---- "Untrustworthy"
Platform appears to be a cash grab that makes it difficult to cancel a free trial by not sending required emails to cancel subscription plan. I recommend you avoid this app and service.
-- Dedloff, 2026-07-19

### *---- "SCAM"
It’s a scam.

The ad that leads you to sign up and make a purchase shows a price of $1; nowhere does it mention that you’ll be charged $39 later on. Then, inside the app, you have to keep making purchases because everything costs money. It’s a rip-off. Give me my money back.
-- Johannavrv, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Manipulative and broken app preying on your desire to self improve"
This app probably has some good content but it’s cluttered with unorganized fluff and it uses manipulative user experience and marketing design to get you to unknowingly subscribe. I’ve lost count of how many steps I’ve had to take to try to cancel my so called subscription and I keep getting an error at what I hope is the final step. All under the guise of helping us live the “best life” — does this company have any integrity at all? I doubt it. Avoid and live through YouTube ads for similar content without the hassle and appropriation of eastern religion and culture.
-- Koalacity, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Horrible"
You purchase something from them but then need a subscription to access it. That’s BS, highway robbery.
-- flat truth, 2026-07-02

### *---- "Be Aware!"
I found the platform on social media, advertised at a relatively low cost for a kids' development skill-set video. I signed up. Three days later, I saw a $39 charge on my credit card.

The worst part was cancelling the subscription. Question after question, step after step, and on top of that, I had to confirm my email just to unsubscribe. This is an educational platform — you need to be more careful and transparent in how you operate it.
-- Reyyis, 2026-07-02

### *---- "Shady App"
I paid for two programs that cost $1 USD each and then it automatically enrolled me into a monthly program and took me so many times to click through deceiving cancelation steps that try to trick you into not quitting the monthly fee. Also the two programs I bought weren’t helpful.
-- ALD123NYC, 2026-07-01

### *---- "Fraud"
They take your money without any authorizations
-- AnjaKguest, 2026-06-29
