## News 9 Weather Reviews in United States

### *---- "What Changed?"
I used to love this app and all the information it gave. Not only on weekly degrees, but hourly. It also gave more accurate weather and storm details.
There is an update they did on it now that makes it actually more useless than my normal iPhone weather app.
I wish they would fix whatever they did to make this app less usable
-- 13Thereviewandyou, 2026-10-09

### *---- "New app version"
I liked the previous version much better
-- Justinwboman, 2026-10-05

### ***-- "Chances for rain"
Shows 80% chances for rain but other weather apps have 15-20 %. Since update this has been an ongoing issue it seems. Otherwise like.
-- Bgpatch, 2026-09-27

### ***-- "These matter!"
Why doesn’t the app have the the times for sun rise and sun set??
-- Kiwidinokk, 2026-09-22

### ***** "About how good it is"
I like news 9 app gives me updates about storms near very helpful I would download this app because any other weather is wrong this is right.
-- Happy both, 2026-09-18

### ***** "Reliable"
Love the app
-- Br0o$e, 2026-09-12

### *---- "Put sunrise sunset back on"
Why would you remove sunrise sunset
-- Oklahoma54, 2026-09-05

### **--- "Prior loyal follower"
Missing the old format went to KOCO 5. Lacey & David great
-- Grinnys Garden, 2026-09-04

### *---- "New Update needs HELP!!!"
I’ve used this app for years, but this one needs help, please!
•Where did y’all put the dew point? I can’t find it anywhere?????? We find that helpful to know.
•Why did you make it so challenging to see other area forecasts? I am regularly checking several other cities, but you have made it Difficult to find them even after I added them to the locations I watch. They need to scroll up or down or left to right.
-- MTEdmond, 2026-09-03

### **--- "Missing wigit"
I am missing the ability to have this app as a wigit. I have to use the weather nation app as a wigit. I liked the news 9 wigit better. Please bring it back.
-- kooltchr, 2026-08-25

### *---- "What happened to usability"
I’ve used the News 9 weather app for years, but I’m really disappointed with this new version. The dew point is no longer included, but we have 2 lines for wind speed & wind direction (information that could be combined.) The radar is buried far down on the page for below weekly information that could be a swipe through page. Most egregiously, when I get a weather notification on my phone’s home screen I cannot find it in the app once I wake my phone up. What is the point of issuing weather notifications if they cannot be found & read? All in all, I hate to have to say it but the latest update seems to be all style & little substance.
-- GracieLou10, 2026-08-22

### *---- "Useless"
If I could say zero stars I would. This app is ugly. You can’t change cities easily like before…when you have family across the nation this is a must. The app won’t open on the first try EVER! It shuts down immediately every single time and it cycles through this 3-4 times before it finally opens the app. Yall need to do BETTER!
-- Fixapplz0101, 2026-08-20

### ***-- "Location is buggy"
Generally good but the location is buggy. It says I’m in a different city. Before the update it worked fine. Now it’s wrong.
-- MrsSwanson08, 2026-08-17

### ***** "Great Resource & Folks!"
What a great resource they keep us whether aware and informed. And the news 19 is awesome thank you for all you do.
-- JustMelBell, 2026-08-05

### *---- "Disappointment"
I’ve followed David Payne and used this app for years, but if it doesn’t improve, I will delete it. Where’s the dew point? What about heat index instead of “feels like”? Rather insulting and much less useful. I hope they revamp it again soon. The older version was much more useful.
-- Dodber, 2026-08-02

### *---- "No widgets"
Updated the app and removed all the widgets. They were the most useful part outside if storm season. Guess I’ll delete till then and reevaluate.
-- trevorwl, 2026-08-02

### *---- "Useless"
This new app never updates throughout the day. You only get the morning temps.
-- dodie62, 2026-08-01

### **--- "Don’t care for the changes"
This app was better 5 years ago. I will be uninstalling it.
-- Dhosiba, 2026-07-30

### *---- "Latest version"
Unable to easily view other saved locations.
-- Bhutchsmith, 2026-07-29

### ***-- "Better the previous version"
Though better than previous version it is still lacking content
Daily is only 7 days hourly is 24 hours not bad but could be better. Radar is horrible. Only 2 hours future unless you go to 24 hour future cast
There are many better weather apps
-- Crashes 222, 2026-07-28
