Welcome to the National Early Warning Score calculation application, a joint development between the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the North West London Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Heath Research and Care (NWL CLAHRC).

This application is designed to aid in the calculation of NEWS scores for individual patients and to suggest the most appropriate clinical response as a factor of area of practice. It is not a diagnostic or patient management tool. By using this app you understand and accept that the RCP and NWL CLAHRC:

Accept no liability for the completeness or accuracy of the contents of this app.
Accept no liability for any inaccuracies or misleading statements or representations made by you, the user, when using or discussing the app with third parties.

### ***** "Useful app"
This is a useful App. It is the latest version of the National Early Warning Score system, NEWS2, in a clear, easy to use format. As a very experienced Clinician I am more than happy to encourage the use of any app that increases confident use of this System.

Anybody who is concerned about the valid use of NEWS and NEWS2 terminology, should read the Royal College of Physicians documentation, that appropriately uses both terms.

The app works very nicely, but there is inconsistent naming of NEWS/NEWS2 through the app which made me a little apprehensive about trusting it.
