Reasonable as a news source, but lacks news background & analysis. Also weak in opinion pieces.

Very useful app, I always start my day reading the latest news from SA

Worst SA news app by far

Dthsonic123456 on

South Africa

This is by far the worst news app in SA. Driven by click bait and BS adverts plus unsolicited information sharing. Can’t ever get hold of anyone relevant and zero feedback. Do not rely on this app for genuine news as they are purely driven by click bait and adverts.

Valuable news source

Mostly propoganda fake news

Okay, but biased.

JanPapPiel on

South Africa

The app is fine. This is not aimed at the hardworking devs! You will get news regarding SA, but as with all things MSM, they have tons and tons of implicit bias. They don't even try to hide it due to how big of a player in the space they are. If you live in SA, get your news from multiple different sources.

Not Reading Friendly

Why are you not making use of the IOS Reader feature? Twitter can do it. Why not you. I can’t subscribe

Pathetic Opinionated Drivel

CharlesGlass on

South Africa

Used to be a good app until they started force feeding the highly biased and self proclaimed terrorist loving Mondli Makhanya’s opinion pieces (That no-one ever asked for by the way) down our throats. I went to news24 for unbiased journalism, not Mondli’s factually incorrect, personal thoughts and opinion. Definitely will not be paying monthly to be spewed lies! Won’t be back!
