I’ve refreshed the app. and find the navigation worse than the previous versions. The focus is on Christmas, which is fair enough but if I want ladies underwear, non-festive variety, it is tricky to navigate and not all intuitive. This upgrade is definitely a step down from previous versions.

I love Next. I don’t shop online often but I do for Next as I live in Australia. The quality of the clothing doesn’t compare to anything I have seen in Australia, they are fairly prices and last a long time. I used to live in the Uk, the website there had had a look book section so you could see all the clothes on the kids or adults which made it so much easier to piece together clothes. There is a lot to look through and that feature made it quicker and easier.

Christmas and featured searches are the only options instead of a proper menu. Need men, women, home, babies etc. When you use ‘search’ and click on a refined option like colour or size, it doesn’t work. So you’re left scrolling through 2000 items. It’s a real pity that signing in to Next online is easier than using the app.

Don’t recommend buying through the app from Australia. It offers you the option to buy as a guest but if you have an issue with your order you are pretty much a ghost. My card has been charged and no confirmation email has been recieved. Next chat told me there is no record of the order and I need to chase it with my bank. Reeks of a scam!

Recently returned a $240 dress carefully following instructions, which were clear as mud TBH. After a month (!) no refund. Tried to use chat system but it was rubbish- insisted on loads of details and then said my phone number was wrong, which it wasn’t. Tried email and after 1 email they said they were cancelling request for help as I hadn’t replied - I had. NEXT used to be so great but not now. They just want your money and do not care about customer service. Take my advice and never use them…
