Nextcloud

Asked me to review 3 times in a row so it's 1 star. Also has privacy reducing crash log sending enabled by default.

Great! While you share link of your video or picture, you get the full feature as offered by google docs. There are some bugs but any webmaster will realise easily. I am using nextcloud as my own cloud by raspberry pi 4 at home.

Extremely unreliable, absolutely no quality control before releases. Something is fixed and another thing broken on every release. You cannot trust this app to give you access to your files. Latest update again broke it completely. All files gone, completely blank view.

After deleting a nextcloud account, the app shouldn sign out from that account, and offer the posibility to switch to another signed in account. Also, mobile app doesn’t offer the posibilities of switching to other apps (contacts, calendar etc)

I don’t recommend Nextcloud to anyone. I suddenly got a notification on my PC that Nextcloud has deleted one of my folders with 30 gigs of files in it for no reason. Luckily I was still able to find the files from the server and copy them back. But I’m not touching Nextcloud anymore.

This used to be an be excellent app but since version 2.22 the core functionalities have been broken on my ipad. File uploading hangs each time in case there is a file with the same name (in previous version the file was replaced and everything went smoothly). Also, can’t download any files to my ipad (file provider error 1000). Thus, the app has been entirely useless the past month or so.

Folders and files are loading soooo slowly. It’s basically unusable.

Yes, this works for me. Easy and useful.

Way better than Owncloud. This actually works instead of just lagging.
