### ***-- "Encrypted folder issues"
When using Encrypted folders in this app with E2EE there are a few things I noticed that need working on!
1) If you encrypt folder on desktop client, you don’t see the decrypt option on the folder in the iOS app. But if you create an encrypted folder in iOS app you can also decrypt folder in the app. 
2) If you encrypt TXT files the iOS app opens them all with garbage! Desktop client has no issues opening and decrypting TXT but in this iOS app they are useless. Workaround is to use RTF instead which iOS app decrypts and opens fine.

Cannot access email.

Tortuous, complicated, protracted systems.

Loads of different entities mureno, e foundation, nextcloud, github etc. No idea who I'm dealing with!!

The auto upload feature of the app doesn’t work. If you want to upload your files you have to periodically leave the app open and your phone unlocked until the upload has complete. 

Without this feature Nextcloud is essentially useless as a cloud backup for my phone.

And just say you have an old macmini. Install ProxMox (free) then install Nextcloud…boom, you’ve got all your cloud services sitting in your spare room running effortlessly on the very reliable macmini…

Let’s not look at replacing office365 apps (coz you can) …

The app is very good. Just one small suggestion please. When a folder is opened from within the files app, default behavior is to download all files in that folder. That should be optional or limited to small sized files. That will be very useful. Thanks.

Tried to use Nextcloud to replace Apple for storing my iPhone photos. As much as I wanted this to work, in the end hundreds of photos didn’t show up in the app album which makes it pointless. 

The photos were on the server, I had tried rescanning folders, regenerating photo previews, disabling cache in the app and played with all different settings but it was hit or miss which photos would display in the app when viewing the media gallery. Some days I would notice a chunk of photos would be in the media folder, later on in the day they wouldn’t be there and another chunk of photos would appear. 

In the end I had to admit defeat and go back to the Apple subscription which works brilliantly but I would of preferred to use Nextcloud
