## Nextcloud Notes Description
Note: Access to a Nextcloud server with the Notes app installed is required to use this app. Visit  for more information.

Nextcloud Notes is a notes editor that syncs with the Notes app ( on your server.

Once you have logged in to your server, all notes will be kept in sync between devices and also the web interface. Optionally supports sync on startup.

You can create and delete notes directly on the device. Notes can be organized in categories. Edit as plain text or use markdown for rich formatting. Notes can be copied or exported to other apps or services in several formats.

If you have a sync client (optional) installed on your desktop computer all notes will be there too, and can be edited with any text editor.

Authorization with Nextcloud App Tokens finishes without any noticeable error. Still no sync to the Nextcloud instance. Without the sync feature, as offline note taking tool, it is useless.

Die Zeitverzögerung beim öffnen der einzelnen Notizen nervt. Vielleicht bekommt ihr das noch hin, so wie beim iOS.

Momentan kann ich die App keinem empfehlen, da sie bei mir schon mehrmals für Datenverlust gesorgt hat, indem die Notizen auf einmal leer waren oder nicht die aktuellste Version von Server geladen wurde, sondern die aus der App die neueren Versionen überschrieb. 
Schon über ein Jahr lang ist die App in diesem Zustand.

### *---- "Mittlerweile ist die App für mich unbrauchbar"
Seit geraumer Zeit kann ich auf dem iPad nicht mehr sinnvoll mit der App arbeiten. Bei jeder neu angelegten Notiz werden nicht nur immer wiederkehrend Fehlermeldungen angezeigt, es werden außerdem bei jeder zweiten oder dritten Änderung an der Notiz physisch neue Dateien auf dem Nextcloud Server angelegt. 
Eine DIN A4 Seite geschrieben, mit Änderungen zwischendurch, führt zum Anlegen von mehreren hundert einzelnen Dateien. Wenn dann die neueste Notiz wenigstens den vollständigen Text enthalten würde könnte ich noch damit leben. Letztlich muss ich aber eine SEHR große Zahl von Dateien sichten, um den vollständigen Inhalt zu finden. 
Die App hat vor langer Zeit mal sehr gut funktioniert. Das ist aber lange her.

Nach der Eingabe der Benutzerdaten wird eine erfolgreiche Anmeldung angezeigt. Es dreht sich dann ein Icon mit den Worten „checking Server”. Der Dialog endet dann wieder in der App, bei der man sich anmelden muss.

Was ist der interne Redakteur? Warum habe ich bei angemeldeter Cloud einen Anmelde-Schalter in den einstellungen? Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden.
