I’d give a ZERO review on this service. It’s a money pit and doesn’t work. I’ve probably spent 75 hours of my time with tech support. My SMS and phone doesn’t work and they arnt even sure why. Buyer beware.

I use the Nextiva app when working remotely to connect to our desk phones at work. Recently I’ve been having a lot more issues where calls do not ring through to my cell and immediately say “missed call.” I have to completely log out and back into the app to get it to work again. Fast forward a month, now my biggest issue is calls ringing, but immediately saying “failed” as soon as I hit the answer button. This occurs multiple times a shift, causing me to miss important calls from clients. I contacted support and their advice was to make sure my notifications were on and that my phone was not on Do Not Disturb mode….. which has absolutely nothing to do with the issue I presented.

As a customer for the last couple of years I have watched this app and company fall further and further away from quality. 

It is a shame that every update causes the app to lose more functionality and bugs are never fixed. Customer service is near impossible to communicate with and is unlikely to solve any issue. The most recent is the lack of ability to clear notifications that are present for every call and are appearing as missed calls. Switching to another VOIP provider in the near future.

I switched from Ooma Office to Nextiva thinking is was a good move, but boy was I wrong.

This system isn’t built for porting over an existing business phone number that has texting and still be able to use the functionality of your VOIP System without any hiccups. Your solution is to set up a user with the main business line, then forward that call to your “receptionist”–that you have to set up a random number for–in order for the call to run through the call flow. The flaw with this approach is I still get calls on my Nextiva App on my cell phone at any time of the night because the call flow isn’t active on this line. 

Come on Nextiva you can do better….

Calls drop all the time making if difficult to communicate out of the office. We also have to delete the app often and reinstall because it just stops working.

### *---- "Worst Decision Ever - Avoid Nextiva at All Costs!"
Selecting Nextiva for VoIP phone services was the worst decision I have ever made. From start to finish, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Their service is unreliable, the setup process is unnecessarily complicated, and customer support is practically nonexistent. I spent countless hours trying to resolve issues, only to be met with unhelpful responses and no real solutions.

Not only did I waste a significant amount of time, but I also wasted a lot of money on a service that didn’t deliver on its promises. Call quality was terrible, features didn’t work as advertised, and overall, it caused more frustration than it was worth.

If you're considering Nextiva, my suggestion is this: DON'T. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable VoIP provider.

Idk what’s going on but my app is no longer letting me view texts inside the app when I receive notification it isn’t visible in app tech support not helping, app also keeps changing from previous version to a different layout idk what that’s about.

### *---- "Calls don’t come in"
Nextiva is stuck in the last century. The calls never come in through the app, and I just receive a notification that I missed a call which I can’t call back. They make it impossible to work remote as I’m glued to a physical office phone the entire time

The app only will show the phone numbers from contacts that are categorized as Mobile and it won't populate any numbers categorized as anything else. It's unfortunate.
