Was 5 stars. Now I hardly use it anymore as a result

As an international user (Australia), I can’t subscribe to NFL+ and instead have to subscribe to Game Pass International (GPI). This was bad enough when it was all still integrated within the NFL app, because I’d often get ads telling me to sign up for NFL+. But this was a minor inconvenience—at least I still had access to all the content. Then NFL decided to annoy and alienate international fans further by moving them to a separate app with, and subscribe through DAZN…and DAZN is the worst. I can’t stand the fact that the NFL did this. From the start, DAZN has been terrible. We’re a season or two into the change, and it still hasn’t gotten any better. DAZN is clunky, difficult to navigate, and has inconsistent viewing experience. And for that, I’ll be leaving a negative review on its own page. But the NFL still loses points because they made this happen. But the main reason I’m leaving a negative review here is because of the additional flow-on effects. When it was all in one app, yes you had the ads telling you to sign up for a service (NFL+) not available in your country, but at least the app recognised that you had subscribed to GPI, and so it bypassed the lack of NFL+ subscription, and allowed you to view all the content. Since moving to the current system of subscribing to GPI through DAZN there is no integration between the two, whatsoever. Sure, I get most of the same video content, but it’s not well organised, and some content is still not on there. They also don’t have articles. More and more articles and videos on the NFL app seem to be for paid-up subscribers only. And because there is no integration between the two apps/subscription services, the NFL app doesn’t recognise that I have a paid subscription. As a paid-up subscriber to the NFL, I’m paying the same amount (or more) than I used to, but I have access to significantly less content. Yet I still get ads telling me to sign up for NFL+, which I cannot do. This is completely frustrating. I’ve put up with it until now, but I won’t be renewing my subscription, and I know plenty of others who will follow suit. Do better, NFL.

Now forces login but doesn’t recognise me as I had signed up back when you could set a user name not an email. Get to a screen where it asks you to enable location services but there is no way past it so app completely blocks me. Absolute garbage

The developers of this app have decided that you will not be able to use it unless you have ‘locations enabled’. No thanks.

Too many ads. If I wanted game pass, I’d have bought it. Videos play automatically when I just want to read the report. I mostly just use CBS now, much better.

Every time I open the app, it takes me to the page to sign up for GamePass. If I wanted GamePass I would have signed up already. Take me to the Home page! It’s why it’s called a Home page

Not being able to turn off autoplay on videos is infuriating. If I’m casting a game to the tv I can’t go and check stats of another game because the auto playing highlights takes over the cast. Not to mention just in general, it’s annoying. If I want to watch the highlights I will. Notifications for articles is great; clicking on the notification only for it to take me straight to the gamepass page, and then for the life of me i can not find the article it notified me about. I might as well turn the notifications off to save me the frustration. The whole app just feels a bit messy and cumbersome.

Okay app but when you open a notification, it doesn’t open in the app, goes to the game pass advert and doesn’t progress. Really frustrating, lost a star

Looks like there GamePass product is losing money since they moved to DAZN and now users are constantly showed Ads for the product. Every time the app is opened users are forced to look at a GamePass Ad then 10 seconds into whatever you are doing users get another pop up GamePass ad interrupting them. Competitior Apps like ESPN offer a much better Ad free experience.

Incredibly non-user friendly interface, slow and clunky, the live ‘current drive’ animations don’t match the plays and Therese just far too much information on each screen. Who ever developed this has tried to do way too much and need to simply things
