## NGS Find a Garden Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Widget"
I can’t get the accessibility widget off the app. It’s really intrusive so I have deleted the app.
-- sas760, 2025-07-31

### *---- "Disappointing with limitations on searches"
We like going ‘yellow booking’ but are increasingly frustrated by the App ( and website).
Seems to be no way to set a perimeter for the searches and by county is useless if you live on the border of 4 of them.
Map is now very poor and relies on opening each garden in turn.
Every time we have searched we get different answers. It’s clunky, limited and not a patch on what it was 5 years ago.
Needs reprogramming
-- healthy lady 61, 2025-05-24

### *---- "I just cannot get this app nor the website to work!"
Surely whoever is supporting such a fab charity as the NGS can get a grip on the IT problems being reported. It’s clear some people can get the app to work but so many are reporting problems. We’ve reverted to the magazine to check the program of open gardens.
All the home owners who invest so much effort into opening their gardens deserve better support from the IT to ensure visits and charity donations are maximised.
-- An Old Guy!, 2024-05-25

### *---- "Really useless"
The app is no longer fit for purpose and I now just use the booklet and hope there are no last minute cancellations .
-- grumpyfornow, 2024-05-25

### *---- "I AGREE - DOES NOT WORK"
As others have commented, it doesn’t work. How can it be worse than the old version?
-- Timbo-timbo, 2024-05-24

### *---- "Useless"
Absolute waste of time. Does not give open gardens near current location even though I know there are some available. Keeps hanging.
-- Ghtrsch, 2024-05-18

### ***** "Good app. Improvements made??!"
There must have been some good work done on this app since the bad ones. I think it’s excellent. Thumbs up
-- lila191, 2024-04-27

### *---- "Absolutely awful"
This app is almost unusable, if it doesn’t get fixed the visitor rate and charity money raised will plummet.
-- ngs fan, 2024-04-01

### **--- "Old app good new app bad"
Not fit for purpose
-- Bogelund, 2023-08-16

### *---- "Just doesn’t work 🤦‍♀️"
Awful to navigate and filter. Doesn’t include gardens that are advertising openings locally. I give up.
