Overall not bad
I didn’t like the app at first but it’s improved over the years. I would really like a widget to add to my home screen to get a quick glance at scores or playoff brackets.

Among the worst sports apps
Video highlight editing is awful and videos cut off seemingly before the puck even hits the back of the net. No way to share goal videos like there used to be. Standings feature is good as is ability to see scores and networks where games are being broadcast. Team schedules are only viewable month by month instead of for the whole season and are no longer in calendar format which was far more useful. Very disappointing app overall.
Finally matches the old app
Finally there’s a calendar for scores with the new update as well as the playoff bracket!

Playoffs Brackets
Not sure why NHL doesn’t release an update with easy access to Playoffs bracket like NBA or NFL.

I love this app. At the time or writing go panthers beat the rangers!

I have never reviewed and app before but I made an exception from this absoloute piece of garbage. Too much to list and everyone knows it. Ask any hockey fan if they like this app, the answer will be a resounding no.
Decent app - suggested feature
App is decent and improved from prior years. Certainly when following games from the app. It would be great to have the game tracking from Lock Screen feature, like the MLB app.
Feature request
When I watch on cable TV I will get notifications from the app before they happen on screen, how about putting in a "delay" setting of a minute or two. I find myself having to out my phone down before the start of each game so it sent ruin what's on TV
Not a fan of new update
I miss the old NHL app. This new update is a lot harder to navigate. Crashes quite often and doesn’t always refresh. Most times I have to force close the app to get the scores to reset. Notifications are laggy as well. Bring back the goal horn sound when your favorite team scores
