You can use nightguard to submit your bg values to the Apple HealthKit. This is disabled by default but can
be enabled in the nightguard app.

Nightguard is an app that displays your blood glucose values from the Nightscout backend.

It is a native iOS App with support for the Apple Watch.
Features are:
- Define a range of acceptable blood glucose values.
- Whenever your values are out of range you will be alerted.
- You can snooze the alerts all the time and for a defined time period.
- You can reactivate the alerts all the time.
- You can activate alerts if the values are rising or falling too fast.
- The app displays yesterdays values as an overlay chart. This way you have a hint about how your values could behave in the future.
- Tune your basal rates with the statistics function to overlay different days
- Sync your bg values to HealthKit (optional)

For the alarms to work the app has to be active. So you can enable a screen lock that keeps the app running all night long.

Doesn’t work

No matter what you put into this app it won’t connect.

Not sharing all data with health app

The app failed to share data 6 hrs overnight. My numbers are in the nightgaurd but not in the health app.

Is there a site that explains the measurements that appear on iPhone?

My only issue is that I can’t get a notification widget on my Lock Screen. :-(

Strong app

I really like this app. Overall it’s very complete works well with the watch. Only issue I have is to get it to sync with Apple Health I have to open the app otherwise it does not write its data to Apple Health. However great app

Do not see it natively on Apple watch series 3

Do not see Nightgaurd widget appear natively on Apple watch series 3, even after I installed it on my iphone pro 12. Is that by design or am I doing something wrong or this is not compatible with older apple watch models such as series 3?

Needs update

The app seems to be very useful with the exception of the Stats graph which, on my iPhone 12, only displays one days data. Does not look like the App description above.

I like the app

It does some nice visualization with the data that is very helpful. It was better when the watch app worked. It quit working for me with the last update. It was updated and the complication started working again. This is such a great app, thanks for all your hard work!

Finally works on Apple Watch Ultra

Shout out to the developer for fixing watch complications on Apple Watch Ultra. If you want glucose readings on you Apple Watch, this is your app!
