Cons: Censorship for many characters (Just Google, you will find a lot) Bad pricing strategies (Over priced skins and even skin gatchas) Unfair ranking designs (If you are put in competitive server divisions, don’t think of getting high ranks) Recently got bugs every updates In addition to the Stella Blade collab, PS day1 players were treated like trash and got eventually zero compensation. This game is absolutely worth playing. The characters are incredible. Deep, well written, complex characters. Each Nikke feels really genuine with her own backstory, personality, individual quirks, etc. The relationships between the Nikke and the Commander (player character) are meaningful, and develop over time. The art is great. The story is also a huge selling point. It has an impressive range, from the really heavy stuff centered around survival, sacrifice, and duty (the game sets the tone basically immediately with a pretty shocking event) to light, fun stuff (side stories), to sweet, romantic bond stories. And this is done in an authentic way so these different themes fit together well. The soundtrack is also amazing. The Commander is an interesting character who is legitimately important, both in terms of the story and to the Nikke. I’m not saying the game is perfect (one recent event with “Siren” was a misstep, but honestly, this has been the only misstep in my time playing).
