Have been waiting years for this game to be updated and back on the App Store since iOS update that removed it, but now it’s finally back, but not available to purchase outside a monthly subscription plan for a library of games I DO NOT WANT! I just want nimble quest.  

Id be willing to pay a flat rate for JUST nimble quest, even WItH ads for things like coins. Listen to the people, halfbrick … because at present y’all are acting like half wits & idiots

I played this game a while back and found it on a whim again. Immediately I remembered it and got excited to play it, but saw you could only play it for 60 minutes before having a monthly payment of $3. This is really the only half brick game I am playing right now and a monthly subscription does not make me want to venture more into the developments other games, get excited, and then see the same paywall. 

I understand money needs to be made especially if you’re adding to the game but this is literally the same game I played back when it was free. The only changes have been bug fixes, nothing else added. If half brick wants to have a monthly subscription for some of their games by all means they can do what they want, but it doesn’t make sense to have it on a game that hasn’t changed in the past 5 years that was originally free. I’m essentially choosing to either pay almost $36 a year for this game (and the other half brick games) or play none of them. I’ll choose the latter

I was soooooooo excited when I discovered my beloved Nimble Quest was back!  I played this a ton, had maxed out characters, and had even checked from time to time over the years, hoping it would come back.  And I even thought, yay for Halfbrick, they revived it!  My disappointment and dashed dreams cannot possibly be expressed that this is locked behind a SUBSCRIPTION paywall!  Please remove the subscription requirement.  I will gladly pay a one-time fee and would support choice of in-app purchases.

This game is the best mobile game I’ve ever played so I was ecstatic when I saw it back on the App Store. Unfortunately Halfbrick is trying to capitalize on people’s nostalgia by blocking this game behind a monthly subscription. Why would I pay monthly for a whole library of games when I only want to play one of them?? I would prefer to pay one time to own this game + pay for in app purchases instead of paying a monthly subscription. Corporate Greed has once again destroyed something amazing.

This was a classic game that deeply inspired me in my youth. The gameplay was pristine and the characters and strategies were compelling. My friends and I were obsessed for years. 

It is abhorrent and greedy the way Halfbrick has destroyed this game’s reputation. Even back when it wasn’t available in the App Store there was a greater respect for the game. It is utterly insulting to bring back an old game and put it behind a subscription, especially given they added nothing to it. 

Like the other reviewers, I would gladly make a one time purchase for this game. It is excellent and well worth a single purchase, but hurried behind a paywall I just can’t justify it.

Halfbrick, I speak to you directly now. Shame on you. Truly, shame on you. Your greed is apparent, and your reputation will forever be marred if you uphold this embarrassment. Change your ways. You are missing out on customers and genuine fans of properties you own. I wish no suffering on any individual people, but I honestly would rejoice to see this enterprise fail.
