On the water since 2017, with 200,000+ downloads and 10,000+ five-star ratings from boaters, anglers, sailors, kayakers, and coastal homeowners.

Buoycast shows you the wind, waves, and water temperature actually happening out there right now, measured on the water by 1,000+ NOAA buoys, not modeled from a land forecast. Marine forecasts, tides, and NOAA alerts layer on top, organized around your location and your favorite spots. Your closest buoy is on the home screen. Everything else is one more tap away.

### ***** "Sea Conditions show half the time"
UPDATE***- I was in contact with Mike at Buoycast and advised him of the issue I had with some of the areas in Alaska and within a day it was fixed and has worked great since. Great customer service. I would recommend this app to any boater in Alaska (and elsewhere).

Previous 3 star review:
My main reason for getting the app is to quickly check wind speed and sea swells so I can plan trips. When I open the app, I’d say about half the time that data is not present and I have to go on the NOAA website. Then, when it is present, and I cross reference it to the NOAA website, about 25% of the time it shows rougher seas than the website. So I’m a bit annoyed. I’m going off the seas for the NOAA website this weekend to see who’s right (hoping the website). 3 stars because: Everything else is accurate and consistently works. Would have 5 stars if it fixed what I stated above.

We like to think that we are doing a great job planning our cruises. Checking the buoys on our route to get a picture of what is really going on and if our forecast matches “Actuals” gives us a safe feeling and confidence in our forecast tools.  I would not go out without Buoycast.
