## NodeMapp Bike Description
With the NodeMapp Bike app, the one and only app for biking nodes, you can explore the biking network in Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Together, they offer more than 90,000 kilometers of biking fun.

BIKING ROUTE PLANNER
You can view the biking nodes on a map and plan a tailor-made bike tour point by point. It can also be done quickly with the Surprise Me function. Choose a starting point and have a route calculated with a desired distance.

SAVE BIKING ROUTES
You can save up to 10 biking routes for free to reuse later. If you want to save unlimited routes, you can consider getting Premium (read further).

IMPORT BIKING ROUTES
You can plan bike rides on your PC via our convenient online route planner. You can generate a QR code for each route. Scan the code using the app, and the route will be sent to your smartphone.

SUGGESTED ROUTES
The app also offers a lot of suggested routes. These are biking routes we have compiled ourselves or routes offered by official tourism organizations we work with.

For a price of 14.99 euros per year, you can choose Premium, our subscription formula. As a Premium user, you have access to a lot of extra features (+):

SAVE UNLIMITED ROUTES (+)
Save an unlimited number of biking routes in your account.

NAVIGATION (+)
With our handy navigation mode, you can follow every biking route with the GPS function of your smartphone. The app will guide you along the route and warn you if you deviate from it. If you follow a route along biking nodes, a voice will also announce each node. The navigation mode is compatible with the associated Watch app. Other smartwatches also provide instructions at nodes if they can receive notifications.

EXPORT ROUTES AS GPX (+)
Export all biking routes in the app to a GPX file.

PLAN ROUTES EVERYWHERE (+)
Plan biking routes in areas where there are no biking nodes or the route deviates from the biking network. This gives you even more flexibility when planning your ideal bike tour.

OFFLINE MAPS (+)
Download every biking route at home beforehand. Then you can follow the route completely offline.

ELEVATION PROFILES (+)
Request an elevation profile for each bike route, so you can assess the intensity of your biking tour beforehand.

REGISTER WHERE YOU BIKE (+)
For each section between two bike nodes, you can indicate if you have visited it before. This is visually displayed on the map, so you can always see where you have biked. In navigation mode, the app automatically registers which sections of the bike network you are biking. This way, you can always plan the most beautiful routes along sections you have never biked before.

NOTE: You can subscribe to the app for one year for the price of 14.99 euros. The payment for a subscription is handled with your Apple ID. Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the expiration date of your subscription. You can manage your subscription yourself, and automatic renewal can also be stopped by going to your Apple ID settings after purchase.

DISCLAIMER: Continuous use of GPS in the background of the app can significantly reduce the lifespan of your battery.

Juist jammer dat er bij werken niet onmiddellijk een alternatieve route wordt voorgesteld.

### *---- "Onnauwkeurig - abonnementsgeld niet waard"
Deze app paar dagen uitgetest in een periode waar ik verschillende fietsapps uittest, om daarna te beslissen bij welke app ik een abonnement ga afsluiten. Integratie met de Apple Watch is doorslaggevend. Fietsknooppunt ziet er goed uit bij aankoop. Geen reclame en je navigeert vlot door de menu’s. Eerste minpunt: je bent verplicht om elke route die je maakt te bewaren en een naam te geven. Maar de echte minpunten ervaar je pas bij het fietsen zelf. Tot vervelends toe krijg je audio melding dat je in de verkeerde richting aan het fietsen bent of op het verkeerde pad. Dit komt doordat de app je exacte locatie blijkbaar niet juist kan bepalen. Ik controleer op hetzelfde moment met andere apps, en deze geven mij locatie tot op de meter correct. Het ligt dus niet aan mijn iPhone 15 Pro Max, nog aan de instellingen. Uiteraard heb ik de toestemming gegeven dat de app mijn exacte locatie mag kennen, en niet bij benadering. Ik gebruik de laatste versie van de app als ook van iOS. 
De meldingen zijn op den duur zo irritant, dat ik de audio uitschakel. En dan wordt deze betalende app helemaal waardeloos: ofwel moet je telkens je iPhone  uit je broekzak nemen, ofwel moet je een fietshouder aankopen waar je je iPhone op je fiets kan bevestigen. Echter, dan mag je telkens een nieuwe iPhone koopt ook een nieuwe fietshouder kopen. Het is net daarom dat de Apple Watch zo’n fantastisch ding is. Maar helaas is de ondersteuning hier niet meer dan een simpel tekstbericht. Geen turn nu turn navigatie.  Er wordt aan gewerkt staat op de website.  Ik zeg dit abonnement op en overweeg om het nog eens te testen wanneer de Apple Watch ondersteuning noemenswaardig is, en de gps locatie op iets trekt.

Ik heb sinds kort de betalende versie van de app, het is een nuttige tool tijdens onze fietstochten. Wat volgens mij een meerwaarde kan zijn is de mogelijkheid om een bezocht traject naast het groene vinkje in te kleuren met een ander symbool om aan te geven voor jezelf dat je dit stuk niet zo tof vond, zodat je in toekomstige ritplanning dit stuk kan mijden.

In vergelijking met de concurrentie mis ik toch de nodige functionaliteiten om routes te beheren en aan te passen. Zo mis ik de mogelijkheid om:
* Het begin-/eindpunt van een circulaire route aan te passen
* Tussenliggende punten toe te voegen en/of verwijderen
* Routes te labelen om ze gemakkelijk op te zoeken / filteren
* Bij te houden wanneer je welke route je gefietst hebt 
* Routes te waarderen
* enz…

Gemakkelijk maar kan beter. Met kleuren werken zou beter zijn. Dwz. Bruin waar auto’s mogen rijden en groen waar het autovrij is. Bij kasseien stippellijn. Bij onverhard beige. Zo zou ik nog leukere wegjes kunnen kiezen. Heel hard bedankt alvast!!!!! Mvg Pascal en de rest van de fietbende.

Ik gebruik al enkele jaren de Nederlandse ‘Fietsknoop.nl’ en ik zou veel liever deze Belgische versie gebruiken. Dat ze ongeveer dubbel zo duur is dan de nl app neem ik erbij. Maar wat me stoort is dat er veel meer mogelijkheden zijn in de nl app, en vooral dat die ook nog veel gebruiksvriendelijker is. Ik hoop dat jullie er werk van maken om de app efficiënter te maken.

- blijkbaar niet meer mogelijk om onder « import » een route op naam te zoeken !
