With the NodeMapp Hike app, the only real app for hiking nodes, you can explore the hiking network in Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), the Netherlands, France, and Germany, amounting to more than 60,000 kilometers of hiking pleasure.
HIKING ROUTE PLANNER
You can view the hiking nodes on a map and plan a customized hiking route node by node. You can also use the Surprise Me feature to choose a starting point and have a route with the desired distance calculated for you quickly.
SAVE HIKING ROUTES
You can save up to 10 hiking routes for free to reuse later. If you want to save an unlimited number of routes, consider subscribing to Premium (see below).
IMPORT HIKING ROUTES
You can plan hiking routes on your computer using our handy online route planner on nodemapp.com. You can generate a QR code for each route, which you can scan with the app, and the route will be sent to your smartphone.
SUGGESTED ROUTES
You can also find many suggested routes in the app. These are hiking routes that we have put together ourselves or that are offered by official tourism organizations with which we collaborate.

NAVIGATION (+)
With our handy navigation mode, you can follow every hiking route using the GPS function of your smartphone. The app will guide you along the route and alert you if you deviate from it. If you follow a route along hiking nodes, a voice will also inform you of the next node. The navigation mode is compatible with the associated Watch app. Other smartwatches also provide instructions at nodes if they can receive notifications.
EXPORT ROUTES AS GPX (+)
Export all hiking routes in the app to a GPX file.
PLAN ROUTES ANYWHERE (+)
Plan hiking routes that deviate from the hiking network and in areas where there are (still) no hiking nodes. This gives you even more flexibility when planning your ideal hiking route.
OFFLINE MAPS (+)
You can download each hiking route at home beforehand. Afterward, you can follow the route entirely offline.
ELEVATION PROFILES (+)
You can request an elevation profile for each hiking route so that you can assess the intensity of your hiking route in advance.
REGISTER YOUR WALKS (+)
For every route between two hiking nodes, you can indicate whether you have already walked it. This is visually displayed on the map so you always have an overview of where you have already walked. In navigation mode, the app automatically registers which routes of the hiking network you walk. This way, you can always plan the most beautiful routes along paths you have never been before.
PLEASE NOTE: you can subscribe to the app for 1 year for the price of 14.99 euros. Subscription payment is handled through your Apple ID. Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the expiration date. You can manage your subscription yourself, and you can also stop the automatic renewal by going to your Apple ID Settings after purchase.
DISCLAIMER: continuous use of GPS in the background of the app can significantly decrease the lifespan of your battery.

Potentieel maar mist te veel features in premium
De app werkt op zich goed maar mist cruciale features om echt een voordeel te bieden tov gpx met knooppunten in te laden in vb Komoot.
Je kiest een wandelroute, wil navigeren en dan moet ze eerst bewaard worden. Je voltooit de route en daar stopt het. Je kan zelfs niet vroegtijdig stoppen en je wandeling opslaan. Je hebt vb 2u gewandeld maar geen enkele manier om die activiteit te registreren met Apple Health, Strava,… nergens een log van reeds voltooide wandelingen en knooppunten. Nergens een wekelijks/maandelijks overzicht. Je bent verplicht te navigeren met de app en ondertussen andere apps te gebruiken om de activiteit te tracken. Net een wandeling voltooid en ze wordt gewoon opnieuw voorgesteld in de filter. Filter kan niet zoeken rond postcode of “in straal van” dus continue dezelfde voorstellen. De surprise-me functie is belachelijk. Ik zoek naar een wandeling tussen 10 en 30km en ik krijg 5 voorstellen van 28-29km? Nergens melding met een checkmark dat bepaalde wandelingen al voltooid zijn. Nergens reviews van anderen te zien over de route. Geen manier om foto te uploaden op de route. Komoot is veel beter op dat vlak dus zal de routes na de proefperiode wel via gpx overzetten. Spijtig want deze app kan echt goed zijn.
Opzegging
Ik nam een proefabonnement en wou dat na een paar dagen opzeggen. Blijk niet te lukken en krijg steeds de melding dat abonnement automatisch wordt verlengd, niettegenstaande de mogelijkheid om , zogezegd, tot de dag vóór de verlenging op te zeggen.
Top app!
Deze app en ook de vergelijkbare fietsapp zijn erg gebruiksvriendelijk. Het is ook fijn te ervaren dat er door de ontwikkelaars van deze toepassingen pijlsnel gereageerd wordt op vragen. Met ter zake doende antwoorden! Wandel- en fietsapp prijken dus in onze favorietenlijst!
Irritant dat je elke keer opnieuw moet inloggen
OK app maar zéér irritant dat ik telkens ik de app open weer moet inloggen. Waar dient een app anders voor ??
Super concept
Juste dommage qu’ils n’aient pas activé le partage d’achat intégré avec la famille.
C’est au développeur de l’activer ou de le désactiver. J’espère que cela ne va pas tarder.
Hoorapparaten
Ik ben drager van hoorapparaten en voor de grote Update van ongeveer 14 dagen geleden kan ik niet meer via de verbinding iPhone en hoorapparaten geen instructies meer horen via Bluetooth “ de rest van de gebruikte applicaties lukt het nog wel”, voor de update was dit wel mogelijk. Maar als er een instructie is, valt wel het geluid uit van muziek bevoordeeld en hoor ik niets van de instructies van het applicatie van de hoorapparaten, daarna hoor ik terug mijn muziek.
Mijn vrouw hoor deze wel, maar ze draag geen hoorapparaten.
Graag een dringende oplossing.

Routes geblokkeerd.
Omdat er in het netwerk iets wijzigt worden opgeslagen routes geblokkeerd. Hierdoor kan je ze zelf niet meer wijzigen en moet je alles opnieuw gaan uitzoeken. 😡
Niet zoals het hoort!
Schandalig dat je om te wandelen een abonnement moet nemen
Nieuwe layout
De vorige uitgave wandelknooppunten was veel aangenamer en duidelijker ! Op PC uitstippelen is een echte ramp : zeer onduidelijk. Enkel met tablet of smartphone is het nog te doen : is dus echt een grote achteruitgang tegenover vorige !
