A “must have” app.
It works as intended. No problems at all. Brilliant app.
Poor value
Look for a different one if you own an iPhone and a Mac. Noir wants you to pay once for iPhone/iPad, and once for Mac. Other dark mode extensions do not require buying twice. It’s a good extension, but this double purchase is just annoying for something you usually get for free in other browsers.
The way all apps should be
Pay Once, use forever. Well integrated. Universal. Feels like an Apple App. Great Work. Only wish I could set the app by sunset/sunrise schedule instead of Dark Mode since I always keep my devices in Dark Mode
A must-have app
Works perfectly. Developer is responsive and updates the app often with new features and site fixes.
Unable to scroll down some sites
On a few sites I was unable to scroll. After uninstalling Noir the same sites were back to normal. This needs to be addressed
Good, but limited
It works good, but the colors are very very limited and can’t customise anything.
Does as it says on the box
Works very well and as intended on most sites. Would give a 5 star if the option to change the colour palette was available like on Dark Reader for desktop web browsers.
Very supported
I went and bought this since I wanted a dark mode option for the sites that don’t offer it, I saw that the developer frequently reply’s to comments and that gave me confidence to make the purchase. I like the features, the customizable options, seems like a good purchase.
“This extension can see sensitive information”
Safari warns that this extension can see sensitive information. “This website will be able to Read and alter webpages and see your browsing history on this website. This could include sensitive information including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards.” They probably make extra $ selling browsing data.
