## NoiseLevel Description
Mit diesem Programm lässt sich der Lärm aus der Umgebung ermitteln. Man kann den Geräuschpegel (z. B. abgehörte Musik, spielende Kinder, Lärm am Arbeitsplatz) ermitteln.
 
Dazu bedient sich das Programm des Mikrofons im iPhone. Die Werte erscheinen in dB (Dezibel) auf einem Anzeigebalken unten auf der Hauptansicht.
 
Der Pegel wird ferner durch einen Ballon sichtbar gemacht, dessen Größe und Farbe sich entsprechend der gemessenen Werte verändert. Bei einem hohen Wert platzt er. Das kann man ausprobieren, indem man z. B. in die Hände klatscht. Viel Spaß damit!
 
So ist vorzugehen:
Das iPhone ist so zu halten, dass das Mikrofon zur Lärmquelle weist, wobei sich die Anzeige entsprechend mitbewegt.
 
Hinweis:
Zwar arbeitet das Programm verlässlich, eignet sich aber nicht zum gewerblichen Gebrauch. Das im iPhone befindliche Mikrofon kann nur Werte zwischen 35 und 110 dB ermitteln (mit geringen, modellabhängigen Abweichungen).

Funtkioniert auch unter iOS 4. Allerdings frage ich mich ob die Werte wirklich genau sind.
@Hector25 Habe mir die App aus genau dem gleichen Grund gekauft. Bei mir sinds am Lüfter sogar 56-57 dB. Finde auch, dass meine PS3 Slim zu laut ist...
Zurück zur App. Will man verschiedene Lautstärken messen und vergleichen ist das Programm bestens geeignet. Um bei einer einzigen Messung einen repräsentativen Wert zu erzielen sind die App und das Mikro wohl zu ungenau!
