I cancelled my account but continued to be charged and received no confirmation emails about this. You have go through a length sign up process and can’t continue unless you add your card details. Run away now.
I know it's my own responsibility, but for sure it seems like noom is making a good business out of people forgetting to opt out of the trial. When you then opt out, they offer you a massive discount. So how now payed over 100 EUR for something they would have liked to sell to 49 EUR.
The app requires a lot of attention and time, of which I havn’t had any since I started my trial. Now all of the sudden I’ve been charged 39,50€ without even trying out the app yet. This is simply not right in my opinion. I’m very disappointed in the lack pf communication from NOOM and the warning before this relatively large charge from my card. I love the app and the UI from the 20 minutes I’ve used it, but after this I can’t recommend it, nor will I continue to use it.
I downloaded this a long time a go and canceled my subcriptipn and then suddenly a couple of months later i get a bill of 119 euro. Its a scam and the app is really bad with the Danish system. Do yourself a favour
If you forget to cancel your sub there is no reminder before they charge you! Fair warning to people trying out the app! Cost me 99 euros 💸
Wonderful work - the content is solid, the design and flow of the app are impeccable. I’ve been involved in app devl as a product owner so have some background for saying this. Empathy, a sense of humor, the underlying principles in action at every click. Who would have thought losing weight could be entertaining and an opportunity for personal development that applies to all the other things we want to accomplish in life!
Endnu en kalorietæller, men denne med et psykologisk aspekt af både vægtøgning og -tab. Egentlig ret spændende, men når fødevaredatabasen ikke dækker danske varer og stregkoder er det virkelig dyrt at betale 700kr for et forløb. Ærgerligt nok.
I never got access to my account on the app. I couldn’t cancel my subscription due to this and they still charged me. I’ve asked for my money back and they ignore my request. Thanks Noom!
This is just crap. Did the online quiz, payed the recommended price for 14 days trial, but could not login. Tried creating a new account, went through the same quiz again, nothing. Money are reserved, but there is no history of payment.
I used to eat less calories before using this app - I had a hard time keeping up with the recommended calories, especially when it was raised based on my activity. As a result, I have gained some extra weight, eating more than usual. I don’t think applications can make good enough observations and estimates for what a person needs only with a questionnaire. It also felt like, it’s a lot of effort to log everything and go through the readings, I don’t like to use my phone that often.
