North Cowichan is home to a rich mix of flow, downhill, gravel and cross country trails for mountain biking mixed in with a myriad of hiking trails taking you to amazing vistas and vantage points among our Forest Reserves. Our key hiking and mountain biking destinations include Maple Mountain (first area featured in this app), Mount Tzouhalem (recently added) and Mount Prevost. Combine this with additional hiking and equestrian opportunities possible on Mount Richards and we have opportunities close to all residents. The first map published in the app is for the Maple Mountain trail network. Located between Maple Bay and Crofton, Maple Mountain is a rich mountain for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and equestrian. This area features great sanctioned trails and awesome vistas of the area. Some app features include: trail descriptions, elevation profiles, dynamic scale, compass tool, and location icon (GPS). ## North Cowichan Trails Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ed/84/ac/ed84acbe-fe81-2315-6133-d0a42632049f/91369c84-7802-4899-aa23-216c765b960d_mnc-5-5-1..png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/8b/62/0d/8b620d9c-69ca-225d-d7e2-dff47818e9cd/df06cdc7-d01c-417d-9c8f-df59d0b52390_mnc-5-5-2.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/9a/53/9f/9a539fd9-2089-f61b-8d6b-97c89ace5c14/b02a9adf-acd7-4c11-8367-929060bcf776_mnc-5-5-8.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/46/21/35/46213549-4be2-0692-552b-1f5ee5adddff/fa479a30-e851-4a7e-b974-546f19841f80_mnc-5-5-3.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/27/fd/4b/27fd4bf4-ff13-21d4-2b3d-da5a9db36081/95c4283d-b1ff-46e0-a857-945a62fbc62d_mnc-5-5-4.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/75/b4/9e/75b49e48-c579-a3d1-489c-e28c19c7a302/2fa9d3d9-e41d-45cf-be03-c5fb0a9dac40_mnc-5-5-5.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/7f/36/05/7f360514-c3bd-3d3b-fa06-66d1dbe5c45e/44227aee-d861-4019-8238-927f19897c90_mnc-5-5-6.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/45/60/f5/4560f5fc-69a3-a504-b31a-6b6f45b04038/0949ef8c-c234-4b3a-88a0-db2feef411e5_mnc-5-5-7.png/1242x2208.png) ## North Cowichan Trails Rating Breakdown in Canada - 5 stars: 1 (14%) - 4 stars: 1 (14%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 5 (71%) ## North Cowichan Trails Reviews in Canada ### *---- "A printed paper can do more" I think this app can be used as a textbook example of how to fail and get away with it. I imagine someone with zero GUI experience printed a GIS map with some added layers, called it an app and some senior approved said app because neither one of them have ever been outside or has ever tried any mapping apps. We would like to see whether gates are open or closed and when and other useful features, not just pictures and explanation of said pictures, as if we all just got internet today. -- Trailbyte, 2025-01-19 ### *---- "MNC Trails" This app simply does not function. It tells us what various chart symbols do or mean but no charts are shown, nothing. Pointless and a waste of time. -- jimspoons, 2021-05-13 ### *---- "Very limited" Should be called “Maple Mountain Trail App”, has nothing to do with any other trails in Cowichan -- Sends islets, 2020-01-12 ### *---- "Needs work" The app is useless unless you only ride maple mountain. Need to add or make it more clear how to switch to Tzouhalem and Prevost. -- CmdrTron, 2019-05-09 [View all North Cowichan Trails reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to North Cowichan Trails - [Victoria Waste](https://apptail.io/app/victoria-waste-gfd/canada) - [Sunshine Coast Bike Route](https://apptail.io/app/sunshine-coast-bike-route-tLIe/canada) - [RDN Curbside](https://apptail.io/app/rdn-curbside-rMcf/canada) - [Cowichan Recycles](https://apptail.io/app/cowichan-recycles-DMcf/canada) - [T-Res 2](https://apptail.io/app/t-res-2-kNah/canada) - [Talaysay Tours App](https://apptail.io/app/talaysay-tours-app-goNm/canada) - [Gulf Islands School District](https://apptail.io/app/gulf-islands-school-district-kIqn/canada) - [Cowichan Canoe Game](https://apptail.io/app/cowichan-canoe-game-UeUp/canada) - [ilhe qwal](https://apptail.io/app/ilhe-qwal-CDGu/canada) - [Learn Michif](https://apptail.io/app/learn-michif-fOxv/canada) ## North Cowichan Trails Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/canada) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/australia) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/bermuda) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/brazil) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/germany) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/denmark) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/estonia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/united-kingdom) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/hong-kong) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/indonesia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/ireland) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/india) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/italy) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/singapore) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/austria) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/north-cowichan-trails-TLcf/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
