Some of my monthly payments I would like to be able to turn on/off the autopay feature - I have switched the direct debit off but I can’t seem to locate the feature in the app to turn back on. My income fluctuates throughout the year - most months the premiums can be paid in full and on time. I suppose that setting up an annual 1 time payment would be best. As of now I am adjusting some of my coverage and once this settles out I will opt for a 1 time payment per year. However I still would like to setup a autopay option again. App is pretty good for assets sitting at NM. Good info. Decent insights. Pretty good UX. But total fail if you want to see other accounts and assets at other institutions. Account linking is clunky and unreliable and constantly requires relinking. Duplicate accounts at times. And then there this total nonsensical home value. Last week my house apparently lost 60% value overnight. Anyway. NM clearly isn’t interested in providing a complete view of my financial picture. Maybe this is to encourage me to move all my assets to NM. Having the opposite effect. I’m surprised their network of advisors and brokers arent all over this. They should want to see everything reliably. Like NM. Hate the app. Let me link my accounts and see it all.

When linking a bank account, after clicking “I am human” checkbox, the page stuck and never proceed to login. Please fix it

Signing up was easy, creating the account wasn’t an issue, but filling out any of the information on the health history is not possible on the app in its current state. After navigating to the proper tab to begin the questionnaire and tapping on that, it brings you to a separate screen in the app to verify DoB and SSN after which you must accept the terms of service - all standard practices. Only downside is after you do this it brings you back to the verify DoB and SSN then into the accepting terms and again. I did this 5 or 6 times to see if it was just a glitch. Got the same thing. Closed out the app and tried again with the same result. Tried accessing it through the pending questionnaires and it brought me to the same page, after closing it out it brings up a page that breaks down all of the perks of going through NWM and what they offer, it asks you what type of policy you want to look at and after selecting the policy that I spoke about with my rep, it just said “we will contact your rep and he will follow up with you shortly” I work in close proximity to other app developers, it really isn’t hard to fix these issues. To see it from a company that has so much backing is astounding.

I assigned this agent to me as he sold himself on instagram as if it was legit business with this company. By the time this was all done but I didn’t move forward he sold my information now I can’t stop getting calls from their telemarketing company. I trusted this man with my information but how could I he lives in Georgia. That was my mistake. I had to get a new number because of this.

Nice app layout and ease of navigation, but why do my connected accounts always have an issue or never update? The net worth summary would be great if it was able to pull information from my accounts…:(

Worthless. Wanted to have a place to review coverage, policies, cash value. All this app does is - please buy more, we won’t tell you what insurance you currently have with us. My one horse credit union has a better app

The Enroll In Autopay button doesn’t work. That’s all.

Since the newest update to the Northwestern Mutual app, the widgets are not fully utilizing the widgets space on the Home Screen causing black borders to exist around the NM data, this just started happening with the newest update. Hoping this will be fixed soon.

This app really makes it easy for you to contact tour financial representative. Very light on real financial planning or life planning.
